Mario Kart Wii or Mario Kart DS?

Well I havent gotten MKWii but from what I hear, I put them as equals.

the mariokart ds is a lot more into the technical
part of racing, while mkw is more relaxed. i think they are both really good and they should keep on going

I'd have to go with the ds version at the moment, but my opinion could change soon, who knows? Afterall, mkw did just came out. =x

Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart Wii are joint best games in the series.

The DS version sucks the rear end of all other versions (maybe with the exception of MK Advance) when put against MKWii and it will never be as good as SMK either. MKDS was good but by no means the best of the series, I'd still take Double Dash over MKDS, even Double Dash's online play was better than MKDS.

So answer the question Mario Kart Wii by far.

Ive never played the DS version, but a lot of reviewers had said that the DS version had been the best since the SNES version and then went onto saying that Mario Kart wii was the next evolutionary step to the DS version.

So looking at it from my point of view, Im considering getting the DS version because if its anything as good as the wii version then I will be happy.

I had the GBA version but wasnt too impressed with it, it was alright but lost its appeal really quickly.

"blah blah blah.... I was in heaven when Mario Kart DS turned out to be the best MK since the SNES. It's also why I've had a 'Days Until' banner on my desk since the day MK Wii was announced. But then they announced the inclusion of bikes and revealed that the game would be played with the Wii Wheel ( Iprefer analogue stick for steering) and a big cloud appeared over my MK banner... and rained a merry monsoon on my MK parade.
But lo and behold the game is actually up there with the best MK's of all time. It's the Wii equivalent of MK DS!... blah blah blah"

I think Mario Kart Wii is better because there is no more snaking, new characters, new items, online play is lag-free, and power-sliding is a lot easier.

yeah mkw has a way better online, by far .... ds is still awesome

mario kart wii is way better.

mkds is like at........... almost the bottom.
the older ones were better than that

I like em both, mario kart ds cause of mobility and mario kart wii cause of my mii usage.

imo it would be mario kart wii due to 12 racers and wi-fi owns with no lag but mkds has to be my second fav though

My opinion is changeing the more I play MKW. I love MKDS but MKW is starting to become my fav.

I like MKW better but the thing i like more about MKDS Is that when you throw a red shell it hits them right then and their but not on MKW
