Point evaluation is too harsh

I think he means he has lost over 3000 overall with all the disconnect, right cake?? I have lost so many points with d'q is not even funny...play 2 hours to get to 9000+ just to d'q 1 time(after winning the race mindyou) after connecting again I find I lost 200+ points.

The disconnection issue I think is nasty, but it kind of has to be. If you've got a high VR, the penalty has to be high if you come further down the pack, otherwise people would just switch off if they weren't doing very well if a DC only hit you for say -50.

I just recently lost 500 VR.

I was playing a certain group all of the time... recieved about 450 VR out of those races, then d/c.

Lost 500 VR. That REALLY needs to be fixed.

My point is...

Let's say you play for 4 hours. You get 1000 VR. Then, out fo nowhere, you get disconnected. How would you like it if you lost 4 hours worth of hard earned VR?

I get annoyed on how you get very liitle VR unless you're racing people your level. If you're 9000+ plus and you race anyone lower than you, you only get like 1-10 points. That's ridiculous to me. Can you get at least 20 or more?

And the most annoying thing is how you get penalized because others have bad connections. You can lose like 300 or more points just from disconnected from a race. One minute you're on top of the world and one disconnection can ruin all that.

I guess I get frustrated at the points system, but it does make it that much harder to get a higher, more skillful score, if there are actually good players and no d/c's.

Yeah, although I haven't gotten up near that high, I could freaking up to 7500, and because of maybe 3 d/c's, i'm back down to 6800. What kind of crap is that? >|

Very. I always get hit like 3-4 times and get 8-12th. Then i lose points because i couldnt dodge the blue shells. !
