I recently stopped playing this game after I beat it. I want to start playing it again but I want help with a good team.

If you don't know where to start, go here:

http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/

and pick out a team of 6 OU pokemon. Once you have your hypothetical team together, it shall be critiqued. Once you know what pokemon you want, you can go about breeding/capturing/trading them.

Well if you want a opinion on what pokemon you should use, I think you should try a Swampert. Its only really super week against grass, but how many people are going to have a grass type pokemon? Then it totally immune to electric moves.

Sure its speed is really low, but if you have a great defense/HP/spe.def you'll be able to withstand a lot. And if you you teach it the egg move "curse" it raises the defense and attack (it also lowers the speed, but that is already low).

Don't forget to figure out what nature and characteristic you want it to have. I (personally) am going for a "Brave" nature (10%+attach, 10%-speed) with a "often dozes off" (raises HP) characteristic.

This is what I'm planning for my Swampert, may be you can try it out to start with. Hope this helps.
