Photoshop and GIMP Experts, Please Help

Well, for the past few days I've been trying to load fonts from dafont. But when I extract it and drag it to the fonts folder, it never saves or shows up. Is my computer retarded or is it missing some kind of program?

Are you sure that you are extracting the correct folder?
Make sure that you extract here into your folder than it has downloaded in and it has created its own file.

Well, I don't know if this will work for you, but here's what I normally do with my fonts...

Extract the files, then place them into C:> Program Files > Common Files > Adobe > Fonts

That's how I do it, you use CS3 correct? otherwise, I can't think of anything.

Both of these response are very descriptive but you should understand I probably have the worst computer ever.So ZG, you say I should make it it's own folder? I do understand this but they never save !

maybe you need to save them as a certain format?

You need first to extract them to the desktop then open: Control Panel > Fonts , then simply drag them from the desktop to the Fonts folder.

Yeah, but when I check the fonts its never there. Maybe I need an explanation of every little step.

dont extract them.. just open the rar or Zip or whatever they are click start then run then go to c:\fonts open that you should get loads of fonts.. then just drag them to the Fonts folder dont extract them now your done
