Should Dsigners be able to participate in SOTW

Should Dsigners really be able to participate in the sig of the week contest?

Since Dsigners are so good at making sigs, the average person has no chance at winning a SOTW contest.

I see that the same people over and over again winning the sig of the week contest.

So lets think about this, should we let dsigners keep on participating in the SOTW contest or take them out and give the average joe a chance at winning it.

Idea, How about two SOTW contests, one for DSigners and one for non-DSigners!

I think it will be a good idea, think, they need some competition too.

Thats not a bad idea. I would love to see a Dsigner get beaten by just a regular person in SOTW.

Yea, I don't really see your rationing here. Wordkeeper won the last one and hes not a DSigner. When I first came to this site I won and I wasn't a DSigner. Actually I won three total without ever being a DSigner. Plenty of people have won without being one. SOTW is meant to look good, that's why its posted on the front page and has a Hall of Fame. We should be able, and will participate.

Yup. Just look at Wordkeeper.

And DSigner's has trained alot to become as good as they are. It's just for the rest of us to practise just as much as them, and then we will have the same chance of winning as them.

It's not as if they were born with "sig-making-super-powers". They've earned their skills.

I like Wiianator's idea though. Why not have 2 SOTW? And then have some sort of face between the winner Dsigner's SOTW and the non-Dsigner's SOTW.

No, no, no...

We've already talked about this. I don't know why you all are starting threads that have already been discussed. It does not matter if you are DSigner or not, there are people on this site that are better than some of our DSigners, just aren't on the team.

SOTW is in no way unfair. I don't know if you notice, but MANY people have gotten votes in the past just because it was great on their standards.

Look through all of the SOTW contests, countless people have gotten votes, they may not be the best, but it was the best of their ability.

It would also help to take a look at the Hall of Fame. Count how many of those people were not DSigner BEFORE that win.
