rendering question

Is there an easy way to render a picture like this?



Maybe there isnt but it seems like when there are only 2 basic colors in an image there would be an easier way to render the image.

Maybe if you used the magic wand but the outline of the render might show you can also try the paths tool to just render the text

yes there is, just take the magic wand tool and click the image, it should outline the black, invert the selection, and then cut it.

EDIT- @ yoshii's answer, you can just grow it by 1 pixel and it should be good (but you might be able to get it without a white outline around it)
