Resizing
Well i have this great render of the Frogs from MGS4. Its a big render, I dont know the dimensions, but its big. I pictured the final sig with the render in the middle. you can see the details on the legs and everywhere. But when i re size it so its small enough it comes out ugly and distasteful. I just want to know what you guys do when your using a large render, and want it small in the finished project.
Thanks in advance.

Does that work for Gimp? or Paint.NET?

Try this for Paint.NET;
Go Image, Re-Size and on the re-size box change the Re-Sampling box to "Best Quality" and make sure the "Maintain Aspect Ratio" box is ticked. Chances are the Re-Sampling section is set to Bicubic, Bilinear or Nearest Neighbour, which reduces the quality a little. Hope this helps you.

yea thanks ninman thats the exact problem
I used to just click the corner of an image and shrink it down to the size. But with larger renders if its shrunk too much the details get loss and it mixes into each other.
