Two things.
I have two horribly noobish questions, so if anyone could take thier time to answer them...I'd appreciate it.
First of all, what is the difference between Brushing, Pentooling, and C4Ds? Second, can someone show me to a good Userbar tutorial? I use GIMP. Not photoshop. So please try to answer in terms known to GIMP users. (Yes, I know I can just search the internet until I find one, but I find this more accurate. It's better if someone actually answers my direct question than if I go looking for an already answered one...) EDIT: Second question answered.

I dont think there's a difference between the brush tool and the pen tool in GIMP, correct me if Im wrong anyone. And a C4D is an image (search for c4d on planet renders to see). You can use them for lighting, flow, effect, etc.
And here is a link to a userbar tut. http://www.thedesignworld.com/forums...ead.php?t=2902 Hope stuff works out for you, good luck with the GFX. /Nago

Thank you...but the C4d thing is a little fuzzy. I take it that there's no (Easy) way to make those on GIMP?
Besides that, I'm good.

Did I say you were bad? And I think (not sure) that there is no way to make a c4d with photoshop or GIMP. I think you use a program named "Cinema 4d" or something. (C4D for short). Thats why you can use C4D's others made from planetrenders or download c4d packs from deviantart, or however you feel like finding your c4d's. Hope I were to any help.
/Nago PS: I have seen your sigs you know...

Pentooling- Tool on photoshop, you make paths by clicking and dragging points, and then stroking the path with a brush, has more control then the brush tool.
Brushing- Its... just brushing. C4D's- C4D's can't be made in GIMP or photoshop, they're made in a special software called cinema 3D. Effect C4Ds typically have a black background and are set to either Color Dodge, Lighten, or Linear Dodge. |

Thank you both.
All done here, thread can be closed. (For the record, I knew what brushing was, and was wondering how it differed from pentooling)
