Official Cover Art as seen on Naruto.TOMY-USA.com Naruto Shippuden - Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 This is the 5th Installment to the American Clash of Ninja Series, and is the first to introduce both the Shippuden Characters to America, as well as to possess Nintendo Wi-Fi Capabilities. ![]() Story: 3 Years after the original Naruto Series has ended, Naruto Uzumaki and Master Jiraiya have returned to the Leaf Village. Naruto has matured physically, but is still the same old Hyperactive Knuckleheaded Ninja the World has come to love. His homecoming is short-lived, however, as he receives a mission from Lady Tsunade that the Kazekage, AKA Gaara of the Sand, has been attacked and kidnapped! Join Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi as they travel through the Hidden Sand, meeting friends both old and new, as they re-enter their perilous fight with the Akatsuki, a band of S-Classed Missing Ninjas with one goal in mind: World Domination. Gameplay:Battles take place in a semi-free range environment. Most all of the stages are memorable areas in the Naruto Timeline, such as the Hokage's Building, the Ramen Shop, etc. Characters are forcibly locked onto their opponents throughout the battle, and can utilize the B Button[Or the Wii-mote] to attack, with Arrow Combinations, as well as the A Button. Players Take down each other's health bars while obtaining Chakra after each hit given/taken. Once your Chakra is 75% full, you may press R when hit to perform a substitution Jutsu, appear behind your opponent, and launch an attack. Overall Gameplay is simple, with the Gamecube Controller, the Wii Remote+Nunchuck, or the Classic Controller. New to the game is the ability to call upon your Teammate in Tag Team Matches to help you[Much like a Support Ninja in the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Series] Story Mode:The Story in this game carries from Naruto's Arrival slightly past the Gaara Retrieval Arc. That is all the info on the Story that is currently available. Multiplayer: Multiplayer can take several forms in this game:
Character Roster[As of Yet]: In this game, So far, the characters have been updated and most have been taken out as far as now. They are all as such: Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection: This game is expected to be able to allow users to perform Wi-Fi Multiplayer Battles, most likely utilizing the Friend Roster, and the Rank Battles System. Most are hoping for Revolution 3 to take advantage of a Wi-Fi engine similar to that of Castlevania Judgment. This game is expected for November 17, 2009, for North America, whether or not it will be delayed in Europe is unknown. It is currently available for pre-order at http://www.gamestop.com for $39.99. Note - This thread is not only for "OMG I can't wait to get it"-posts, but is also to be used for Character Guides[if anyone creates one with a character they already know] Note2 - The characters in this game are in their Shippuden Attire, which means that their movesets have been adjusted. Guides on how to use their past selves would be useful only for a Revolution 2/1 thread.

General Strategies
The extra posts of this thread are to be used for basic character guides for the characters that Nintendopals members have mastered. These posts are where the knowledge of each character shall be stored. Guide Checklist: Deidara With Deidara, you want to begin the battle up-close with a basic combo. All of his special-type attacks send Clay Items at your opponents. Normal Thrown Weapon is Clay Birds, Down+Weapon sends Spiders. Once you've sent them flying with your art, Jump then use the Weapons button to jump onto a Large Clay Bird which will, in 1 second after activation, fly directly at your opponent. Utilize the Back-Standard attack to send them flying away whilst you prepare more Birds/Spiders to be sent flying at them. Once you see an opportune moment, you can activate one of two specials. His standard Special will do normal damage with a small video sequence. His Alternate Special flies him into the sky, giving him half a second to create his "Signature Technique," which shall explode after Deidara detonates it, causing a massive explosion across most ALL of the stage[exceptions for the LARGE stages]. Temari With Temari, distance is a BIG factor with strategy. Her Side-Weapon makes her blow you away with fierce winds. No damage is done, but it prepares for her next attacks. Standard Weapon is her Fan, which sends small tornadoes at your opponents. Use Standard Combos to keep your opponent off-guard, then finish with a Back-Weapon to summon your Weasel Ally used against the Sound 4. Her specials do minimal damage, so they are not suggested unless it is for Style points on the finishing move. Alternate special will send a tornado at your opponents, rendering them useless[unless they use a Substitution]. Temari's Wind Style is meant for distance with slight close-range mixed in. Standard Combos are your best friends, whether you use Direction or not. When using her, monitor your Chakra when you summon, substitute, etc. Make sure you have enough to perform all your normal attacks. Gaara of the Desert Gaara combines Full-powered Assault with Distant Defense. If you can time it right, use a Back-Weapon to prepare a counter, which will trigger the Sand Coffin. Utilize a combination of Basic/Weapon Combos to make sure your opponent is at a safe distance to ensure victory. Up-Weapon will send Send Rushing upward at them. Down- Weapon will Surround you with Sand, sending your opponent flying if they're hit. Forward-Weapon will send a Small Sand Tsunami at your foe, covering a decent distance. When you're ready to do a special, use it, and capture your opponent within one of the two Upward Sand Strikes. You will use Shukaku's Sand abilities and capture your opponent in a Giant Sand Coffin. This Special gives decent damage, but not significant. Gaara's Alternate Special will keep your opponent occupied with a long combo attack, and as long as you are close to a wall and can hit with the first shot, you are guaranteed a successful Special. Neji Hyuga Neji is a character that is to be used offensively with about 1% Defense. If you can time it correctly, distance yourself for a combo using the Rotation Counter[Back-Weapon]. It can be held, but it drains your chakra swiftly. Utilize combos with Basic and Weapon attacks to make sure your opponent is taken down quickly. The Forward-Weapon is a 3-hit combo that will drain some of your opponent's Chakra AND their health. Neji's normal Weapon attack is the 8 Trigram Sky Palm, with limited range, but can automatically trigger a Guard-Break if your opponent guards against it fully-charged. Neji utilizes two specials against his foes. His first and foremost, is the 8 Trigrams 64 Palms. It will do moderate damage, and will almost completely drain your opponent's chakra at the same time. His alternate Special is simply the 8 Trigrams Giant Palm Rotation. Keep Neji close to your opponents so his near-infinite combos can connect. Sakura Haruno Sakura is ALL about Offense in this game. No defense required. Use basic combinations to transfer into a Weapon combination. She'll teleport behind your opponent, activate her "Power Gloves," and will, basically, deliver a Falcon PAUNCH to your opponent, automatically breaking their guard and stealing some of their chakra. Down-Basic Button combinations will break the earth beneath you, forcing your opponent to fall. Keep up close with Sakura, and, if you feel you're in a tight spot, get a bit of distance and use your back-special. The Back-special will make Sakura heal herself, perhaps the most useful special available in the game. Her forward-special, only good for Team matches, will heal whoever it touches. Her normal special is just a minimal damage Punch to the face, and is mainly not used, so chakra may be reserved for Substitution and Healing. Keep the distance small, and aim wide. Believe me, you'll hit. Upcoming Guides:

Character Reviews, For Revolution 3+future Games! That's right, these character Reviews are created so people know just where a character will be if a tier list were to be made, and how good of a player they need to be to master them Beginning with some EX3 Characters, Hidan and Kakuzu, two nearly invincible characters who fall at the hands of Shikamaru Nara, Naruto Uzumaki, and the Rest of Team Kakashi/Team 10. Hidan is excellent to play if the player is angry ._. lol. But he possesses ranged and close-combat style tactics. His specials are VERY MEH though. first Special - Drama, Drama, he stabs himself, you take minimal damage. Second Special is triggered differently. Use Down+A to make a Circle with some of your chakra, and then boost your chakra back up quickly, preferrably by taking damage. When you're in the circle, you trigger, Hidan quickly stabs himself, and your opponent takes damage equal to or double the damage they inflicted on you :3. Kakuzu...UGH, lol. He has hardly any attack power, really. A few good combos, a counter[that doesn't do much] and incredibly weak specials. To those who wish to main him, I wish you godspeed. You're going to need it with the speed at which he attacks. All in all, as fighters these 2 come up on opposite ends of the tier list, with one who will kill himself to kill you, and one who will just kill himself and die. To Hidan and Kakuzu, a deadly combination in conjunction with each other, a 3/5. Hidan - 4/5 Kakuzu - 2/5
