This is a pretty decent review for a first review. =]
I love how you compared it to Guitar Hero 3 throughout the review. One thing is that you should try and keep the text regular size and also if you think you can, try to explain the different game modes more. Good for a first review, keep writing =] |

Good review - If I was a GH fan that was on the fence I feel I could use this to help me make a decision.
While I don't generally like "how to" reviews this was mostly an exception. As you did compare this to GH:III later on you could have made use of that in the earlier paragraph ("When playing..."). This would have helped tie the entire review together. Also, it might help someone who can't afford GH:III but plays it at a friends house let them imagine how they would bring their skills to this game. Thank you for making a good first effort. |

Guitar Hero: On Tour A modest user review
Just got it today and I wanna write a user review XD
The game sounds great, as a rythym game should, so there's really not too many qualms about the sound quality, the game makes the best use of the speakers it has at its disposal. The lighting can be a bit troublesome at times, and you can't really see your character too well, not that you'll be looking at them, but its nice to know that they're there instead of some ominous shadow lurking behind your fret bar, waiting to mess you up. what the lighting doesn't mess up though is very well done, the backgrounds look good and the stages are well designed and cool. After about 15 minutes of continuous play, your hand starts cramping, and for those of us who have a DS original (or as I like to call it, DS Phat) It takes a flathead screwdriver to attach the included DS original adapter to make it work. The Peripheral could have been designed a lot better to allow more freedom. Its hard to make the jump from regular GH to this one because of the lack of movement in your hand. You're basically strapped to one place instead of having the freedom to move your hand to reach the buttons, thus making songs with a lot of power chords a little harder. There is plenty of replay value included in the game with the amount of guitars you can buy etc. etc. but with a slim list of 25 songs, it's less addicting than its console counterparts. But don't let my critical review of the game deter you, its still a great game and its always fun to have a little GH practice wherever you go, but the 50 dollar price tag may be too high for someone who may not be a big guitar hero fan.
