Kirby Super Star Ultra

This game consists of 10 unlockable adventures, each more difficult than the last. Each of the six games (including a training game, a time trial, and a game in which Kirby 'memorizes' his copied abilities and can switch between them at a moment's notice, instead of copying the abilities from enemies) can be beaten in one sitting. The only really new aspect is that you can sacrafice your special ability in return for a helper with the ability you lost. Conversely, you can use download play to have a friend control the helper, but he has to look as your screen as his DS won't use the screen. The mini-games are what gives the game its value. They all use the stylus exclusively and can be played with 4 other people with only one game card. There is a shooting arcade game, a card-snatching reflex game, and a game in which you have to tap the rocks, bombs and bugs off the conveyor belt before they reach your Kirby.

Overall, I do reccommend buying this game; its quite fun to play in your spare time.

My brother got this game, while I don't play it often, I really enjoy the minigames, and they are what gives the game value. I really like the minigames, especially where I get to be the other creatures.
Much fun. Story's a little lacking, but fun nonetheless.

Judging by your review, you haven't even beaten it. Don't write a review until you've played through the whole thing. Especially not a crappy nondescript one like the one you just made. After you clear the 6 games, you unlock Helper To Hero, The Arena, The TRUE Arena, Meta Knight Ultra, Revenge of the King, and two more minigames. The True Arena is BEASTLY hard.

Kirby Superstar Ultra is the greatest Kirby platformer made. Period. You'd have to be the idiot who made this lousy review not to buy it.

I rather liked this game. It took the old Kirby Superstar and upgraded the quality of it. I think it's better when they take 2D games and make it a little bit better than it was before. When you look back at what it used to be and actually pay attention to the sound, quality, gameplay, etc. It all got better. I think other companies should look at this as an example an bring back some of their old game just beef up the quality and whatnot. Overall this game was great! Glad I got a chance to play it.

Wait a min, I thought it was exactly the same as Kirby Superstar. You're telling me there's more? O_O

oh dear, now I have to go out and buy a DS now. The arena was already hard for me, but there's another arena?

Thank you Unfraggable

I not thing that this kirby game is all that bad, i mean yeah, the games is short and easy and all, but it is fun, specailly when im playing the arena and beating all the bosses, yeah that was really hard but it was fun, so all im saying is that u really need to play the game to the end to get the more tougher boards.

Hmm... I've thought it the other way around.. I've thought that the variety of modes was the saving grace of the game. The mini-games really aren't that appealing. Although the actual games can be quick to repeat, there is a sight bit of replayability for the treasure search mode, if your one of those "100 percent" kinds of people.

The games you unlock by completing the main games is what separates this game from OK to good though.
*Possible Spoilers beyond this point*

We'll SORRY! I've unlocked all of the games that they show, and beaten most of them. And I thought 'played like the Gameboy ones' was descriptive enough, especially since most people here have played the gameboy ones. I actually have a life, so I'm not going to spend an hour writing a review without getting paid. If you don't like my review, write one yourself. The description you're giving is pretty 'crappy' too.

Leave me alone. I was just starting a review thread for a game that hadn't been reviewed yet. If not for me, there would probably still not be a review yet.

If there's more to the game, I'll edit my review once I beat it.
