LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures - Review

Once and again LEGO unleashes a fresh game that struck down on the gaming steadiness and Blew it out of the way, Yes...you guessed it right!

Its the one and only

Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

~Storyline~

LEGO Indiana Jones story is based on the real life Indiana Jones series, these in which they are, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, The Temple Of Doom and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, the game has the very exact story line as the movies, except that it is expressed in "LEGOish" humor, like how it is formerly known to be in LEGO Star Wars. It takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere. LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run.

~Gameplay~

As you may have all have noticed sooner before, The game surly ignites the action spirit in you with all the interesting surroundings in the game and the broad actions and tricks that Indy is able to carry out, just mix the spice all together and you will get a game of its kind.

As a difference across LEGO StarWars, Instead of just rolling with the game, you have to figure out mysteries, solve tricks and be keen with focus. Indiana Jones has 60 new characters in addition to that you are able to make your own simulation (or character), in which each of them has a roll in the game, each character is just nicely different J

Indiana Jones features:

Multi-player: Here, once you are done with a level, you can revisit it through the Multi-player option and have a fair share of a nice game on a level of your choice.
The Multi-player in this game is like the typical Indiana Jones game, except that instead of having Dr.Jones following you as a BOT, you will have the Second player, and it will serve you double the entertainment

StoryMode:
Story Mode includes playing the original sequence of the Story, bashing down levels, and owning...as the game proceeds, and more levels are done with, various characters are unlocked and they are open for free play mode.

(There is a Hub in between the three worlds that Indy uses to move to the desired level or world, it is in a shape of a map that is within the collage that Indy teaches in.)

FreePlay-Mode: Free play mode is where you go when the replay value proofs to be effective, you go back and revise the levels freely, you can also just wonder around O.O

____________________________

Like LEGO StarWars, the objective after the game, or it's purpose is to collect LEGO studs in order to gain "adventurer status". Indy also collects treasures that are later on kept in a museum.

~Main Characters~

Indy
: playing as the main character, "The most famous iconic archaeologist", the whole storyline is based on HIM.

Dr.Jones
: Secondary main character that follows Indy and guides him through in some cases. In other words, he is his father =p

Maintenance Guys
: They are there in certain scenes, were a certain thing needs "fixing".

Scholars: They can look for clues and they also are able to read hieroglyphics.

Diggers
: Needless to say, they simply..Dig.

Girls
: Well, the Girls can Jump higher than others.

~In-Game Controls~

Alike LEGO StarWars, which has been awarded by its fanatic gaming experience, in Indiana Jones, he tends to use a lot of the fantastic in-game moves, he has skills such as using his whip to bounce and swing from a location to another as well as the fighting moves, action swift and the large variety of actions that are required to fulfill the games purpose, it's a mystery mind requiring game, for this game has loads of it...control skills are simply not enough for it. For the sake of repetition, the new adds on Indiana Jones over StarWars are games mechanics like climbing ladders, swinging on vines, and using Indy's whip to grab and swing. Still the same easy and simple pick up and play as Star Wars, to be direct and precise, I will specify:
  • Switching the character you are playing with can be with either the (1) or (2) buttons. And in Story mode you switch the characters by using the (C) button.
  • Jumping is with the (A) button.
  • The whip is used by pressing the (c) button. The whip has numerous uses in this game, once you master using it, you will be through with the action part, and will be left with a great mystery behind waiting to be solved.
  • There are sixty characters unleashed in Indiana Jones each of these characters has a certain ability that out stands him, so each one of the characters should come in handy sometimes, push on the (Z) button to apply the character's Ability, Digging for instance.
  • As for this LEGO production, the Combat system is enhanced with more realism in combat, for more of the time Indy is unarmed and usually outnumbered.
  • Firing your weapon is done by pressing the (B) button, never far from mind, you have limited ammunition, and so just in case you do not want to give it up for a waste, he can use the whip to snatch out the enemies’ weapon.
  • When jumping nearby a vine, it will automatically grab the vine for swinging once you jump.
  • For tackling drop your fingers at the B button, or just swing the Wiimote like a hooligan towards the left and right, It works Well.
  • Picking up objects of the ground is done with the (Z) button as well.

Game features/Ratings

~Graphics~

Rating this game from the prospective of it being a LEGO game will most certainly give the impression of bad graphics, anyhow this game has proven it's graphic ability to impress the player, for a LEGO game Indiana Jones has completely blew it to the limit. It earns a nice 8/10 from me.

~Sounds~

Featuring the theme song of Indiana Jones the movie, the interest and intensity builds throughout the game, The sounds just kick you into another world of sound charisma of an action/mystery game, so dare not to touch the mute button, or you shall lose interest, That's a 9/10.

~
Replay Value~

Passing Time away from this game WILL get you some kind of nostalgia, or "Home" sickness,
It's amazingly fun to play and hard to let go of, the deserving of a sweet clean 10/10.

This is the first Super Brick production I have read and I must say I like it. I enjoy your writing style. Its very fresh and not biased. Review was very visually appealing with the sections broken down by colors and the video added a nice touch.

Great Review

Great Review!! I have the game i almost beat it! I have seen the new movie and it was great. but it did seem like there is going to be a new one coming. anyway this game is addicting!! it makes you want to beat it in one day! but if you like LONG games this is perfectfor you. i hate short games where there is little challenge and only takes 2 hours! i hate those kind of games they are boring! im trying to save my money to buy GH4 i have 73 bucks but im tempted to buy a Wii points card instead! Awesome review and good game. Join the Perfectly Fun Clan while you can!!!!!!!

Hmm, Yes....I will try to work on that, the thing is, that the Multi-player in this game is like the normal game, except that instead of having Dr.Jones following you, you will have the Second player, and it will be 2X fun ^^..
Ohh well, I guess ill add that.

Imagine the LEGO game having Wi-Fi, what would you be doing with it ?
Notice the Game play, For this game it is not suitable for it to have Wi-Fi, you are not telling me they couldn't have..but it just doesn't work for it.
other than that, I think their Multi-Player options are pretty O.K they are fun enough to cover any Wi-Fi Features.

By the way if you have any suggestions about how it could be Wi-Fi and its features...Post it below(not that Nintendo will take it in consideration) so we can just see how good it can get
