Luigi's Mansion Review

LUIGI'S MANSION REVIEW
MY 11TH REVIEW

Intro

Yeah this game is old but still it's a good game which is why I am making a review on it. Real Intro: Luigi has won a mansion and he goes there to check it out only to find his brother Mario is trapped there in a painting. Another thing he finds is some old guy with 1 spike of hair that doesn't speak english! That's a great combination! He is the one who gives him the Poltergust 3000, the Gameboy Horror, and the boo tracker. He show you how to use them and then you never see him again unless you loose connection from the communication system or you catch a boo.

Storyline

Basically Luigi goes to a won mansion to find his brother Mario from King Boo and his Bowser costume of death. He will eventually find him but still the game is fun throughout the mansion (especially the end of the game).

Graphics

Now you might not think this game is has good graphics today, but think back a couple years ago when this game come out. The graphics were really good (back then I mean). I know they aren't today but they were back then so acknowledge that. I still ike the graphics because you can see alot of things. Sometimes you can even see through walls. On the navigation on the Gameboy Horror you can see every floor and every room on that floor. I like the graphics, I still think they are good for a game this old.

Sound

I think the sound is great. You can hear things behind you, infront of you, and to the sides. I think it's great because of those reasons, and because I have played this game so many times I know where the song changes, when the whistle tune changes, all that great stuff. I would have to applaude Nintendo for making the sound so great for such an old game.

Replay Value

The replay Value is so great it's not even funny. There are so many thing you can do in both the hidden and the regular mansion it will blow you away. For instance: finding the two gold gems (tips and hints) getting more cash, killing all the boos, getting more regular gems, and doing another mansion to top that all off. It is just great how many times you can do the mansion and find things you never would have found if you didn't go back.

Value

The value is also as good as Replay Value (above) because of the many things you can do while in the regular mansion (Hidden Mansion counts as Replay Value) like trying to get all the ghosts and boos in the mansion and finding all the hidden gems. I love this game and I still do because of all the different mansions and taks you can do.

Gameplay

The gameplay is pretty basic but it is good. You have to catch all of the portrait ghosts to beat the game (See Potrait Ghosts). You also have to kill other regular ghosts to open door and get keys and such. The game is pretty
fun all around.

This is the section in which I name and desribe all the portrait ghosts for you.

Please make a longer Luigi's Mansion 2, the Wii is made for it. The controls and backtracking are the only things I didn't like. This is in my top 5 fav. games ever.
