What do u get when 4 Wiipal Titans Clash 2 Bring A Review, il tell u, a damm gd review thats what lol

Special Thanks Goes 2 Requiem, Buddy07 and Ganon, for collecting loads of information 2 help put this review together

Todays our review is going to be on my a game called Sengoku Basara Heroes 2 Double Pack For Nintendo Wii.

Some of the folloing information has been colected from, Buddy, Ganon, Req and Myself from various sources.

History Lesson

Sengoku Basara is also known as Devil Kings which is the translated english name for the series. The english version was released for the Playstation 2 console on 2005 in July and is published by Capcom. Sengoku Basara resembles gamplay 2 the Dynasty Warrior Series and Samurai Warriors Series and some say the game was created 2 rival the series.

Sengoku Basara series storyline takes place during the warning states peroid of early japan where the states where split up and battles 2 overcome the lands and gain power. The two main genrals/warlords in the game are Sanada Yukimura and Date Masamune.

Sengoku Basara 2 Is Born

Sengoku Basara 2 is the sequel 2 Devil Kings. I dont think capcom released it in english as Devil Kings 2, and instead stuck with the name Sengoku Basara. Sengoku Basara 2 was released on the Playstation 2 in The year 2006 on July 27.

New Game Features

New modes

In addition to the familiar Unification Mode (similar to the first game's style of map-based Conquest, but now with treasure boxes that contain weapons and items) and Free Mode (whereby a player can play any field he/she wants) are the new Story and Arena Modes. Each character has his/her own individual Story Mode. Arena Mode consists of 100 rounds of varying opponents, though some rounds can be considered "rest" rounds (i.e. only three guys carrying gold chests!). After every ten rounds, you get the option to quit and retain the XP and gold you have earned—and you get to start from where you left off, though your XP and gold is reset to zero (this matters only in terms of ranking). Winning all 100 rounds will give that character his/her final weapon as well as third armour.

Rankings & titles

The playable characters are ranked according to: how many battles you have completed with it, how many enemies you have defeated with it, and the highest combo score you have achieved with it. Only the top ten are listed at any one time. There is also a ranking page for the Arena Mode, whereby ranking is determined by the total amount of XP gained and the number of stages completed. Note that the number of stages completed will trump XP; that is, if one character completes 50 stages with XP and another completes 80 stages with no XP, the latter gets ranked higher.
Titles are on a separate page filled with symbols of open fans. Some titles give you more points than others, depending on its difficulty; i.e. successfully unifying the country with each playable character earns you one title, but it is worth only one point each. Some titles go as high as 50 points. The number of points accumulated unlocks new stuff in the game.

Former NPCs & "character clones"

Chousokabe Motochika and Mori Motonari are playable as opposed to mere NPCs. Additionally, the issue of "character clones" is presumably removed; in the first game, Uesugi Kenshin and Matsu shared the same moveset and weapon. The same could be said to Sarutobi Sasuke and Kasuga. In the second installment, Matsu will wield a naginata and have the power to summon animals. Kasuga will wield five kunai per hand connected to razor-sharp wires while having new skills connected to light energy. Kenshin and Sasuke's weapons and skills remain the same as the first installment.

New enemies

New enemies to deal with, including Oni soldiers, ice and fire ninjas, dragon tanks, and five elemental mercenaries parodying the Super Sentai series known as the "Gohon Yari".

Musashi stage

When playing in the Unification Mode, a player may encounter Miyamoto Musashi. He/she will face him on a little island and there is a time limit on the fight, which is actually an amount of money counting down to zero. The more quickly the player finishes him off, the more money he/she gets. If the player fails to defeat him when the money counter reaches zero, he backs off from the battle and the round is over but the player is left to continue Unification Mode. Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes adds Matsunaga Hisahide as another interloper between the Unification Mode.

Battle Drive & Basara Attack

The Basara Attack (Fury Drive in Devil Kings) gauge is filled by killing enemies and taking Basara-items, or when a taunt is performed uninterrupted in the presence of enemies. The Battle Drive is filled by kill count at 100, 200, and 300. You can get to the second and third-level Drive only if you kill the required number of enemies straight without using a Drive in between. The Battle Drive increases your attack and speed, with third-level Drive lasting the longest. When you activate your Basara Attack while your Battle Drive is still on (i.e. your character is glowing), the character's mon (i.e. clan logo) appears on the screen—it is the Ultimate Basara Attack.

Money

Money can be earned throughout the game. Blue chests contain gold coins, as well as yellow boxes carried by enemy soldiers. Stringing combos increase the amount of money you get for killing enemies, too. With the coins earned, player can avail of the Basara Shop, where they can buy upgrades, accessories and weapons. Certain items will have to be unlocked in order to be bought and some items require a certain difficulty to be unlocked (e.g. the "joke" weapons can be unlocked and bought in Extreme mode).

Unique character items

There are also unique items meant for one playable character's exclusive use, granting the characters varying degrees of usefulness at different handicaps. For example, when equipped with his unique item Date Masamune will have unlimited usage of all six of his katanas at once (without the unique item, he can only use all six katanas for a few seconds after his Basara Attack, or when he uses his WAR DANCE skill) at the cost of lowering his defense and being unable to guard or evade.

Sengoku Vs Guitly Gear

Sengoku Basara X (cross) is a new 2D fighting game being developed by Arc System Works, the team behind the Guilty Gear series, and will be published by Capcom.

The game features 10 playable characters and a "Reinforcement System," which enable you to call a companion for assistance in battle. Your companion can use reinforcements attacks, counter attack and a
ssist attacks.

Currently the game only avaiable in arcades in Japan, but due 2 the success it may come onto consoles. We hope this does because where a big fan of the guilty gear series.

Anime Or
Game

When playing the Sengoku Basara games it features many anime cool cuts thats capcom have nicley added 2 flow with the story. Many feel due 2 the success of the series that a feature lenght anime should be made based around the series but this stil is undecided.

Below Are Some Sengoku Anime Clips

Gameplay

As stated before the Sengoku Basara series resembels gameplay of Dynsasy Warriors. So players will go through multiple maps defeating 1000 of enimies until they reach the army's genral where a 1 on 1 battle will commence.

This Video Shows Advent Playing the Game and Explainng It

Graphics

Graphics for this game are on a average level and done really well. The graphics go well with the fighting and doesnt need 2 be perfect. They Special affects when specials are done look pretty cool and in averge i thinks gamers will be pleased.

SoundTrack

The soundtrack for the game is truely stunning. It has a japanese cultral soundtracks with lots of diffent melodies that flow well when fighting differnent oppenents.

Unlockables

The game features tones of unlcokables 2 gather. While playing gamers will see that tehre are loads of differnet wepons, and character abilties 2 unlock. Beisdes that that there are also character art players gather while playing the game 2 later view in the gallery.

Controls

To keep familar players used 2 the Sengoku Series, capcom tried not 2 make the addaption to using the wii controls very hard. Instead of swinging the wiimote, players can simply sit down easily and just tap the buttons on the wiimote. This may seem like he fun been riiped off, but players will find when playing the game it gets hard fighting over 2000 enimies and im sure capcom wanted 2 make it easier 4 the players.

When playing i noticed that there was certain moves that could only be pulled off using the classic controler. Capcom probaly did this 2 make the buttion set similar 2 the PS" controls, so i suggets players get the classic controler 2 play this game 2 its fullest.

Game Lifespan

Its really hard 2 say. Advent has been playing for at least 3 weeks now and hasnt got bored due 2 the amount unlcockable also when playing with a friend it makes it more fun, so we say a Month or 2.

Final Vedict

We give this game a 8 of out 10 due 2 the fact that it depends on the gamer and the type of game they like. If you love action and beatup games then this is for you, but new players the genre i suggest trying this out.

Thankyou 4 reading are 4 Way Battle Royal Review
