Hmm I'm stuck between black and gold rupees :P And yes I was lucky enough to find a silver rupee in the windwaker once. I can't remember where though =\. I remember finding a orange rupee in TP.

Its called a Black Rupoor. Anyway I like the Gold rupee the best since they are worth so much!

if i remember right there is only about 5 in the whole game. i found two with treasure charts and one on omg its been so long since i played it!!!! oh yeah dragon roost island like at the entrance when you get off the boat. if you look up to the left of the island there are bomb flowers going up the wall shoot it with fire arrow and then they cause a chain reaction thus making a silver rupee fall down.

PS: the purpose if the silver rupee is to make paying tingle to translate the
the triforce chats quicker but most people dont bother looking for them i hope that helped
