Has anyone had a problem when playing the game and all of a sudden it makes an ugly high pitched sound that keeps going as you play the game? I was playing a few weeks ago, and I was defeating the first boss again and when i delivered the final blow it started making the noise. At first i thought it was the radio my sister was listening to so I kept playing because it let me play. After a few mins i noticed it came from the game. I shut down power and did not save. So i played it again and nothing happened. A few days later, it did it again. Then again on another day.

Has anyone experienced this or is it just my game and ds that is screwed up?

Hm, has this happened with any other games on your ds? I've seen a couple of threads similar to this at the techforums on nintendo.com Usually the solution is calling nintendo and dealing with the warrenty to get a new ds. The ds-lite seems to have more of a problem with this high pitched sound so....The fact that you only heard it once and the sound isn't constant with any other games? Maybe you got lucky. Anyway, here's the techforum link: http://techforums.nintendo.com/nins/....id=2106#M2106

Thanks for the link. I will check it out. My DS is the old original version. I have only had the problem with the Phantom Hourglass game.

i think your ds is malfunctioning or something. Does that still happen to you even after you turn of your game and you restart it again?

I remove the game and put it back in, and it works fine. it will just randomly do that though with the game.
