well you are helping alot of people indeed. Is that the only guide to snaking cause, snaking seems confusing to me

Yea. Knowing how to powerslide is key in knowing how to snake.
Now you can try to do these powerslides on straight pathways in a "snake" like movement.

you can watch the video again.
Powersliding on a straight pathway is just drifting to the left or right, then doing a powerslide, then drifting in the opposite direction and doing a powerslide and keep repeating.

k for dodging blue shells and red shells does it also go for wii or is it different?

i'm not sure for red shells.
but it is similar for Blue shells.

you do exactly the same thing with the powerslide but for MKWii, you need a mushroom as well.
