Do you ever Reverse?

In competative Play, do you ever reverse because you missed something or you want to get an item box?

i don't ever reverse because it kills my speed.

only to get seond place hit with blue shell if i get it on then too so if their close.

I used to do that. I stopped doing that after a while though

Nope. I've never found the need to reverse. If I miss a box I just hope that I won't miss the next one.

That's the only thing i do now.
only use reverse in battle.

i only use it if i have a blue shell and save it till i get to first, and when 2nd place comes i stop, back up, and they zoom pass me and a blow em up

or i use it when i get stuck offcourse

Lol. i remember back in the day when i used to do that. Thats a good idea, but it doesn't work if the opponent behind you stops driving too

Its exactly the same thing, because the opponent won't get hit, it will just be you to get hit
