is this any good or should i get mario cart wii
i might get this or MCW i probably going to get MCDS because im going on lots of trips

It's kinda hard to compare them... If you are going on lots of trips, then I would get MKDS, but I would still get MKWii eventualy!

Agreed! For trips, MarioKart DS is better. But if you have a TV in your car and want to hook up your Wii, get MarioKart Wii. Personally, I like the Wii version better but since you'll be out and about...get the DS version if you think you'll get bored. But you could always being some other games and play the Wii when you get back from the trips. ~Tikal |

mario kart ds is a great game, its good if you travel a lot, the wifi is good, but it lags a little and there are some snakerswhich some people dont like
mario kart wii however in my opinion is a much better game, although the wii is not as portable as the ds it is better, mkw has better online and offline, up to 12 people can race online instead of 4 and there is barely any lag, there are more vechiles to choose from in mkw and over twice the amount of characters hope this helps

You're lucky if you have a chance to choose! I only have a DS, and love MKds. I'm really curious what the wii wheel would do for the game. The one really nice feature I keep returning to is the fact that the DS is portable!

If you are going on a trip get MKDS but if you are staying in a one hotel for a long time and not changing hotels then get MKW

if you go on long trip and stay at one hotal for a long time recoma MKWii but if you swich most of time then take MKDS
