I have noticed that this section is extremely close to being dead. There is only a few active threads; when we get a new member they post like mad for a day but then it goes back to normal. Which brings me to my idea:

A Mario Kart DS Round Robin.

OK I know your all thinking 'it's already gonna fail' or 'stupid idea' and so on, but I think I can get this to work.

Sign ups will be held to see how many people are gonna do this, I'm hoping for around 12. I will make a draw and then the round robin will begin. Each person will be given a racee they need to complete within that week. I will also make a ladder so everyone can see where they are ranked amongst everyone else. Once everyone has raced each other it is the end of the season and the official rankings will be posted. Whether we do another season is up to you.

POINTS SYSTEM (Method 1)
-A win gets you 4 points
-A loss gets you 1 point (for participating)
-A draw is 2 points each

If the race is not completed:
-If one person was active, requesting for the racee and constantly waiting for their opponent, then they receive 3 points at the end of the week. The opponent that wasn't active gets -1 point if they didn't notify someone about their absence beforehand. If you did give a reason then they don't lose any points, but they don't gain either.

-A win gets you 3 points
-A loss gets you 1 point
-A tie gets you NO points

Please reply with your thoughts or any suggestions to improve the Round Robin. I would appreciate it if everyone who reads replies because I want to see what you guys think about this!

ahhh i see many using the poin system i started

well i do reomend you to give 3 point for winnner 1 for losser and let there be no tie.

tie problem: people might not even play and agree that they tied, yeah you might find some people who would lie just for points lol.

I've talked to LadyHood about this for the Zelda thread you made. We want to try it out on a very small basis before using it to incorporate a larger group. I personally think this is suited more towards very active people on this forum, so we would need special criteria for it. Also, it is more of a racing thing than for Zelda.
