um...triple red shells are really handy, and so is the lighting bolt lol but i hate getting hit by them especially when your in 1st or 2nd place... >.<

i think mushrooms are the best

I like getting the Fake Item Boxes and Bomb-Ombs.

Fake Item Box - Looks like a real Item Box, except when you run into one, you get flipped over lol

Bomb-Omb - A powerful item that, when thrown forward or behind you, will explode, sending other karters flying into the air provided if there any karters within the vicinity of the explosion
