I used to think that guitar hero was much better and when they announced world tour I was so excited, but when i got it i was dissappointed. Then I bought Rock Band 2 to see if it offered anything better and I found out RB2 has better songs, smoother gameplay (especially for vocals) and if u worry about this kind of thing a more realistic look and character creator. So I like RB2 better what do u guys think?

To me everything was better, especially the drums.
I love Rock Band 2, not GH world tour.

Man I was so excited to get world tour for christmas....wow it phailed hard. Then, I got Rock Band 2, I love it so much. It's way better than world tour. And the drums are better. The drums for world tour, my blue pad broke. Ugh so yea. Rock Band 2 is way better.

I was excited to get World Tour, but it did not live much to the hype. Last month my yellow cymbal broke, and it is off the warranty, I nearly fc'd 1/4 of the Guitar setlist on my sightread(s), and the slider sections made the game too easy! A week later I decided to buy Rock Band 2. It's a lot more challenging, better setlist and new DLC every week. You can actually see how you did when playing online, and the drum charts are not repetitive and boring like in GHWT.

I don't have either but I play RB2 every week at my friends house. I borrowed WT for Wii and it was a major disappointment. It had a poor song selection and the graphics were annoying.

gh is cool. the only reason it's bad is cause this is the first time gh has its own band game while this is rock bands 2 band game. but hey you can create songs on gh!

Rock Band 2 by far. RB2 has way more features, DLC is actually consistent and their community website is great.

Online is 4x better, peeps can join your band (without FC or you can invite friends) to help you gain through the levels, or just play with others. It's easy and integrated as part of the game, not it's separate entity (You press a button to seek more players while you pick your char for World Tour Mode for example)

The drums with the extra cymbals are just as good as WT drums, better considering 70% of WT drums are defective. All your GH controllers will work if you have GH3 or w/e. I was so disappointed with the DLC and the game set up. I mean, you can play in career mode and pick set lists with RB2, and it's a lot harder to do it in the way World Tour has it set up.

Rock Band 2, hands down. For me, there's too many reasons why Rock Band 2 is better than World Tour. I got World Tour the day it came out, and sure, it's not extremely bad, but Rock Band is a lot better. Maybe it's just because I play Rock Band 2 almost every single day, but that's my opinion. =P

It Depends on what instrument you wanna play. I find that the drums themselves for gh is better but the rock band drum charts are sick.
All gh wt instruments work with rock band 2, i got ghwt and then just the rb2 disk
