Are Wii Remotes Too Expensive?

No you have that wrong. You had it converting 195 US dollars, when he said 195 euros, or whatever that symbol is.

EDIT:I just figured it and got over 300 dollars for 4 remotes, nunchucks, and motion plus. Not including any free one with wii sports resort.

if you want to play with your friends i can understand why. but if i were u i would buy a wii first, you get one wiimote. then buy wiiplay and get the second. have two friends have the wii and wiiplay and you have four off the bat for you and your friends.

well the lowest I've seen was $35 for a used one...
but I'm sure somewhere, like some auction/sales website you could probably find a Wiimote for less than MSRP...

Well lets see a ps3 controller goes for $55 and a 360 controller goes for $50. So it's not that big of a price difference and the motion plus is not needed at this time for most games so you shouldn't include it in the price for a controller. That's like including the wii classic controller.

And I just remembered for 360 you also put out $20 for the charge and play kit for the controllers, not necessary but if you want to save some cash on batteries you get it.

To be exact it would be $320 for 4 remotes, nunchucks, and motion plus. In my opinion that is alot.
I would change remotes to 30 dollars, and nuckucks and montion plus to 15 dollars.
But this is how they get alot of there money. They know you almost need 4 controllers so they price them high.

They should package them as one ad maybe lower the price a little bit. Controllers on every console are too expensive in my opinion.
