I'm relieved it ended, I think if they announced anything else new I might have died of excitement. Other M looks really cool, from the trailer it appeared to be a kind of 2-d 3-d hybrid. What's also amazing is that it looks like there is going to be a full fledged story complete with more characters and now with Samus no longer being the silent heroine.

Metroid Other M

Looks like a 3D Super Metroid which is amazing. It has actual cutscenes and a true story mode. This looks amazing.

I think it's called Metroid: Other M? =\ it's probably not a confirmed title.

That's what I saw on the TV screen anyway. .-.

It probably is confirmed. Other M mostly likely mean Other Metroid and there was that one fight during the trailer where someone comes out saying, "Remember me?"

Yeah, that sounds reasonable then.

But I love the new view with Other M. I would be bored to tears if they had shown a new Metroid FPS.

oh i definitely cant wait for this. Especially if it is going to be rated m like they were hinting at i am very excited to play a new metroid. not only dose it look like a hybrid between a 3D and 2D game but it also looked like it is going to be a hybrid of first person and third person point of view.

I don't think they were hinting that it would be rated M, just that the team involved is more closely associated with edgier, more mature games.
