Didn't Carnival Funfair Games keep a spot in the game charts for about a year? x] That's not to say you don't have some point, mind. If Nintendo isn't making as much money after the Wii price cut, they do need to start shifting more software, even if I do disagree with your reasoning.

I remember an statement Reggie said about how last gen, Nintendo was accused to piling the market with all their games and because of that, 3rd parties didn't sell and so now Nintendo was easing off a bit. I think Nintendo has realized that most people get a Nintendo console for Nintendo games. They're best year was pretty much when with that year timeframe that Galaxy, Brawl, Kart, Corruption, and Fire Emblem came out, but this year it was pretty light on stuff.
Oh well, Nintendo is already looking like they knew something was off and more software is on the way. Sin and Punishment 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Metroid: Other M look fantastic and I'm sure New Super Mario Bros. is going to be selling for a long time. |
