I got my wii the day the console was released at Midnight. I had to que up with my bro in tesco for hours which was boring but worth it. Then after i got the wii a police man had to give us a lift home because there was people trying to mug people with wii's downstairs. It was cool because the police man was actually picking up a wii to. I also got zelda TP with it.

Unfortuanatley, I had to give away alot of my Xbox games for Wii money. After I traded them, I went venturing through every store, and luckily, Gamestop had 1 left. I got it in August last year.

i have always wanted one ever since 3 months before it came out,

anyways, i went to my local walmart for a midnite launch the day it came out.
but. we arrived there at 8 and there were already 38 people there.

so i didnt think that was a big problem.

so 3 hours later, a worker came out when there were over 60 people here

he said "ok folks we all know we are here for the nintendo wii" and thats when i got really excited!

"but unfortuanly, there are only a small number." i thought no problem because i was 39th in line!

"the number of wiis we have are (1...2...3...) 38"

i thought 38 WTF!!!!!!! OH NO!!!!!

so i still waited incase someone wanted to go home, .here comes midnite... no one left

i was crushed....

then around november. walmart had another launch., but it was at 8:00 in the freakin morning.

so we went the next day at 4:00 and we spent the night at walmart, we were 3rd in line!!!!!!

so after horrible hours of sleeping in the lawn and garden section, in the freezing cold, i got my wii at 8 and it was worth it!!!

That was beautiful story dude!

I went to 2 launches, both were FAIL's, the first one I was like 594th in line, while second one was overhyped @ a gamestop launch, in which they promised to have "enough Wii's in stock for purchase." So what did I get when I was there @ 6:00am about 8th in line, (cause I let a family get ahead of me.... grrrrr)? A very simple, "Oh we only got 4 in stock." Try that again Mr. Gamestop employee. I don't think I heard you quite right. But then in Feb. 2007, I randomly decided to go to a Circuit City were my friend worked and viola! They had a few wii's in stock (about a hundred actually!) So that's how I got mine.

Needless to say that I mercilessly Falcon Punched every Gamestop employee I could get my hand upon. But that's another story.

lawls my wii fell out of the sky with 3 nuchunks 2 wii zappers ghost squad cod3 and mario and sonic @ the olympics also i found a recipt with a reserved copy of brawl

I got my Wii after a friend tell me how great it was. Went to Target on Saturday was told to come back early Sunday. Got there at 7:15 am on Sunday morning (Thankfully I live across the street) bought the Wii at 7:20 am and was home by 7:30 am hooking it up! WOO HOO!!! Also bought another Wii at game stop in January just called on a whim and they had 12 of them. Bought it for my daughter for her birthday!
