Wii Channel Ideas

I have SIX suggestions. I'll just put up one at a time, though. I'll put up my first 2 suggestions for a channel right now!

"Wii Are Gamers Channel"

• Wii/Nintendo DS(i) videos
  
• Nintendo DS and Wii demos
  
• Discuss specific games in designated chat areas
  
• Layout will feel as if Mii has entered the Electronic Entertainment Expo
  
• Works in real-time with all Wii consoles around the world
  
• Occasional pre-recorded anouncement from Nintendo
  
• Open to thrid parties such as Capcom, Square-Enix, etc.,
  
• Recommend games face to face (Mii to Mii) with anyone around the world
  
• Will cause Nintendo Channel to become inactive a la Metroid Prime 3 Channel.

"Wii Watch Channel"

• Watch Movie trailers (thanks to netflix)
  
• Rent movies (via netflix)
  
• Favorite Movies
  
• Recommend a movie you wish to be available for rent
  
• keep demos for one week
  
• Pay up to 300 Wii points
  
• Pay is affected by genre (Comedy are 100 points while movies like Taken are 300 Wii Points)
  
• Ability to send rented movies to Nintendo DSi for that week

***-THEATRE MODE***

• Enables user to watch with up to 20 viewers per film
  
• Use Wii Speak to speak with others in the "theatre" as the movie is on
  
• Option to give Wii Number to others

Hell yea! A friends Channel would rock. Especially if it had a headset and stuff.

i think that though nintendo is family friendly they could make a lot of things cause you don`t have to buy it if you don't want to

but i think that since youtube is working with wii

they should make a media channel so it'll be like youtube/TV/music and they should call it WiiTube channel

The customize channel. So you can customize all types of things like, your Wii menu color. *The Legal/Non hacking way* Plus all the other ideas you guys said. Then Nintendo would make TONS!!! Of money.

It's one downside to the netflix ideal and that's 360 already having a contract...which means if nintendo would do so they'll need someone else like blockbuster or something...

I think a Nintendo Video Channel is out in Japan. I am hoping it comes to the US.

Some channels I would like to see would have to be:

A movie channel ( I know we're leaning towards the 360, but still...)
Maybe a channel that deals with skype.
GPS channel
TV Guide Channel
A PDA sort-based channel (to help you out with your organizational needs!)

And that's most of what I can mainly think of atm.

EDIT: I second the Wii Are Gamers channel!

I want a channel where you can upload your music and replace the games original soundtracks with it, kind of like Excite Trucks for all games. Btw, why did excitebots not have that feature?

a chat chanel,that you can chat
lets c (this may sond crazy) but a ebay channels
