wii games are too kiddy for adult gamers!

I do agree that as of now there are few mature rated games for the console. But really is all your after some high-res blood and guts? I also agree on the fact that it seems as of now that most of the games out are not that good. There are a few.

As for someone saying the 360 was beating the Wii I have to disagree. The 360 is a solid console but you have to remember that the Wii has only been out for a little less then a year, and with only a few stand out titles is taking and will surpass the 360 in consoles sold.

And as far as more adult style games I think they are on the way. Manhunt 2 comes out later this month and with the Wii's momentum in sales i'm sure that more game producers will shift efforts to the console.

Nintendo's got "manhunt 2" comming out in October and yea they made Rockstar drop the rating from "adult" to "mature" but really theres no difference? check www.gamestop.com comming soon man and theres tons more on the way but i don't understand why no one checks the info first before speakin????

It doesen't anoy me that Wii games are "Kiddy" at all.
What enfuriates me, is when people have attitudes like that towards them.
Twighlight Princess is the first Zelda I ever played, and I consider it to be the best game i've played in my life, by a long shot.

I too have a Dad who plays games, and he too won't touch Zelda, no matter how much I try to convince him.
He just says somthing like "No... It's sh*t." and when I ask how the hell he could say that when he's never even so much as seen the game played for more than a random 5 minutes, he says "But it's got cartoony graphics..."
I really could punch him out of rage when he says that. The guy who's addicted to Bomberman, won't play the best game ever, because of "Cartooniness".

I agree - it does get at me how cartoony some of the Wii games are, but with new introductions like Mario Kart Wii and SSBB, who really cares??

These games are great, the past games from these have been classics - so what's wrong with the 'cartooniness' of the games...

Zelda:TP Is a great game... no doubt about that (If only i weren't stuck in a noob-ish place ) and i would have thought that the graphics aren't cartoony at all... now Zelda:PH is a different story - but TP? Not so much...

I too am quite annoyed at the cartoony games, much to do with a 360 owner in my school - keeps calling it a kiddy console... (I now know he knows nothing about gaming - he said you can get over 1000 GamerScore on one game. Lawl) and i believed him, in fact - i was about to trade my brothers 360, for my Wii (he now has an Elite, PS3 and wanted to round off the 3rd Gen...) Luckily my Mum wouldn't allow it and i then realised that the Wii isn't cartoony - it's just fun, which is what a console should be... Cartoons are fun, and so are cartoony games - get my point...

The Moral of the story is - if you are even thinking about trade your Wii for a 360 or something else more 'grown-up', Don't... you will later regret it but i am just lucky to have realised in time... If you enjoy the game and its cartoony graphics then thats fine - don't listen to what anyone else tells you, it's you that counts

what did you expect it's nintendo. i love shooting people in the face gta style, but i knew when i bought the wii that woul not be happen nor do expect it will ever be like that. i've had nintendo systems since 1985, and reason i got a wii is because nintendo great games,maybe there not full of gore and blood, but that doean't insure fun either
