wii games are too kiddy for adult gamers!

i am sick and tired of other consoles hogging all the glory with many mature titles and all wii have is these stupid kiddy titles. when i was a kid i couldnt pry my dads hands away from the controler from playing the legand of zelda with a crowbar. now he wouldnt touch the twilight princess! u know why?! cause u run around wit little kids saving zoo animals... dude? what the hec!! it is so far from the original that its almost not a sequal. the original legend of zelda seamed more adult than this one. and they rated it teen? what the hec! most of the other mature titles are either crap slapped together in a crap sandwich or last gen titles with crappy wii controls slapped together in a crapp sandwich. im also sick of third party developers making ps2 games and slapping crap sandwich wii controls on them. (call of duty 3 ) . also where is the wii-mote speaker support. HELLO!!!!! and dont give me that one game that actually uses it. come on. i fill jipped , ripped off and lied too .. all the promises that nintendo promised with all the 3rd party support. all nintendo does is create a better looking mario game and sell it or a better looking zelda game and sell it . now they even found a way to get around that. they also promised take-two (rockstar) support. u know ,gta franchise!!!!!. and what do they give us !!!! friggen table tennis . way to go nintendo on getting rid of your kiddy image. free online play from nintendo is another gripe of mine. where r the online games. nintendo sucks. man they suck. another broken promise. i should a baught a 360...

i couldnt agree more. i was kinda dissapointed when i played red stell i wanted to do some finishin moves, you know kill the bandit, instead he just knocks em, there is no gore or violence.
but at the same time it is a really good thing for the kids.

Yes, this is true. That's why I've avoided investing in a lot of games so far. Just wait a while and occasionally really good ones will come out like guitar hero. Plus, this way you don't blow a bunch of money on a bunch of games.

oh yea. i know im not supposed to spam but im not finished yet. if third party companys r going to make a wii port of a game they previously released on another console, they could at least use the next gen title . you know what i mean.... like call of duty 3. it came out on the xbox 360 , ps2 and the wii . guess which one the wii looks like . u guessed it . ps2. wow. i did a side by side comparison. so basicly u get a ps2 port with crap sandwich wii controls. hey splinter cell also . it looks exactly like a ps2 game... hello.the 360 version looked way better.and played way better too . if your going to make up for the lack of grafics with intuitive wii controles, u should at least make sure the controls r good. people think that the wii is a kiddy console cause not many mature games r sold on the wii (and even fewer r actually made),that is not the case.the case is that people refuse to buy a crappy ps2 port on a next gen system with crappy controls when u could get the better version of the game even though the controls r standard ,the game looks good and plays good too. i mean have u seen all the games coming out for the wii,ps2,psp. hello . who is the wii competing with next gen or ps2. guess what ps2 won last generation...... its time to move on to next gen games now!!!!!

don't worry nintendo just making game's family friendly for now but after every one gets one. they'll release some t and m rated game.

i think metroid is the only game on the wii worth buying... and it just looks like a really really good gamecube game. but the controls r what ife been waiting for.

Well my opinion is that Nintendo has ALWAYS been known to release quality games geared toward every member of the family. Nintendo has a base market of people ages 10-18 that will buy those so called kiddy games. Now I'll be the first to admit that I've bought Carnival Games, Shrek 3, Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and Cooking Mama knowing what I was getting but I bought them to have a variety of games. To be honest I been with Nintendo since the very beginning, but I know that if I want a game where I do nothing but hunt someone down and kill them then I'll look at another console. But I guess Nintendo will always satisfy that inner child in all of us.

Well,I agree.Xbox 360 is owning the wii though.Most of the wii games got low scores.xbox 360 games got high scores.

im sorry but i disagree wit u dude..he has every right to voice his opinion about the wii...YOU shouldnt have even read his post cuz im sure u knew wat it was about when u read the title...ppl have opinions...and im guessin that u love the wii..these kiddy games might satisfy u...but not everyone else

now i know you said most, but i was looking at the reviews from IGN, and gamespot, and the rest. It turns out that MP3: Corruption got better reviews and an overall higher rating then Halo 3.

matrix...i totally agree wit u on the games for the wii...but nintendo has a whole new line up of game under development at this very moment..and all of the up comin games will have Wi-Fi connection, i mean a bunch of games are in the works for all gamers, sprots, racin fan, adventure gamers, blood/gore gamers, they are all on the way....nintendo doesnt have any of those type games out now because the Wii was ment for casual gamers, soft gamers..it WAS ment to be a family game system..they thought it was only gonna capture the attention of children and non-hardcore gamers...but wat they didnt take into consideration is that hardcore gamers wanted to experience that motion censor technique...thats the main reason y ppl purchased it because it PUTS u in the game...nintendo didnt think that the wii would be as popular as it is now and its at such high demand..thats another reason why there's a wii shortage..nintendo wasnt expectin this kind of success, which goes back to the type of games they had developed. but now since its been almost a year, nintendo IS and WILL satisfy all kinds of gamers...jus wait and see..

p.s. u should check out Resident Evil 4 on the Wii...i think that its the best blood and gore game nintendo has so far
