EDIT - I just realized that this belongs in Wii Discussion. Feel free to move it.

I seem to recall someone, Miyamoto I think it was, saying that Twilight Princess would be something like "the last of its kind". Whether I misquoted him or not, it is clear that Zelda Wii will see some major changes.

So, what do YOU want in Zelda Wii? And, while we're at it, what do you EXPECT in Zelda Wii?

I look forward to hearing your ideas.

Well-a....
I'd love to see two-player modes in a way; with greater importance than, say, in Wind Waker, for instance. Yet I hope Link retains his position as the protagonist.

It's hard to keep it balanced, don't you think?

It's goner be awesome and probably going to have Wii Motion Plus, most likely going to be the best Legend of Zelda game ever

If you've played wind waker you would recognize the ghostly person as the Queen of Fairies who gives you the fire and ice arrows

And I also found something else interesting, like to hear your thoughts on this

I think she is the spirit of the master sword

I don't want anything new at all. Ocarina of Time was amazing. Majora's mask, Windwaker and Twilight Princess all followed the same play style, which was what made most people look forward to Twilight Princess so much. Why change something that's already perfect? I'd also like less focus on wii motion, and that goes for all other wii games as well. A game shouldn't have to focus around wii motion. Although I think the motion sensitivity can add to the enjoyment of a game, the game should still be enjoyable if you were to take it away. Twilight Princess is a perfect example. It used the motion sensitivity, but in subtle amounts, small flicks to swing the sword and a bit of fishing. The game still would have been amazing even without it. That's what I'd like. A Zelda game with the OOT style of playing that doesn't depend on wii motion.

Twilight Princess was a dissapointment for me (as far as Zelda games go). The old formula has really lost it's charm; the developers need to add new gameplay devices in order to keep it fresh. That's why I'm looking forward to the MP controls.

Really? I have to admit, I actually find that odd. In my opinion Nintendo should just get back to what made it popular in the first place. Up until recently it seemed like that's what they've done with the wii. Mario Galaxy went back to the Mario 64 play style, just like Twilight Princess did. Not to mention the new side scrolling Mario Bros. game. And then there's also all the re-releases such as the Metroid Trilogy and Pikman.

I personally could never get tired of the classic game style as long as they continue releasing awesome unique bosses and enemies as well as challenging new temples.

Thats a safe assumption. Not only the looks but some guy in Nintendo was quoted in Nintendo Power saying pay attention to the fact link isnt holding a sword.

I think Nintendo has big shoes to fill. They have to keep it classic, but bring in new twists and other things. I personally want new items, but not a musket or anything like that, just new not-really-important items(bombs). I want some new styles in dungens, but one classice like dugen that is centered around one room(look alot games have one like this). New style bosses and brining back sub-bosses would be good.

So basically I want some nice changes but not a major overhaul.

I'm a bit mixed on what I want too to be honest. On one hand the franchise is pretty frickin perfect as it is, but on the other, Twilight Princess was basically OoT with shinier graphics.

I wouldn't want the formula to change too much, but as long as the depth, exploration and overall feel isn't effected, some new stuff could go a long way.

Look at Wind Waker, it retains the Zelda "epic-ness", yet is pretty different from the others with the ocean. I'd like to see some new twists like Wind Waker had back in the day.

To a certain degree, the (fake) "Future Zelda" concept that came up all that time ago doesn't sound all that bad. (Just don't give him a gun, please. x])

Id like to see sniper scope thingy you got in Twilight Princess. The thing was really handy in the TP in my opinion.(maybe the swimsuit would be cool to have again)

Id like to see the new Zelda Wii have some sort of wifi features. TP for the wii lacked that and it kinda dissapointed me a lil when it first came(kinda hesitated to get it cause of that). Some sort of wifi feature or two would be cool, something like battles or something like archery.

it would be cool (Fresh idea) if the next zelda title timeline was at the end of its era, more into heavy mass machinery, advanced weapons,(like Crossbows..that seem advanced to their time., something in that genre
