is anyone else as excited about it as I am?
Idk why I am really. I just remember reading on my game informer, that it was a mix between Mad Max and Diablo. And Diablo is my favorite game. So, hopefully this is going to be a great game.

I am very pumped about this game. I am really excited about the possibilities in this game when it comes to the weapons. I don't remember the exact number of weapon variations, but it is just insane. Also this game is supposed to support at least 4 player co-op which is always awesome.

Oh man, I just have to bump up this thread and give it new life.
With less than 2 months for its release, and after seeing all of the trailers/interviews/etc, I firmly believe that this will be the game of the year. I'm personally very psyched about the 4 person co-op because there is nothing I find more satisfying than teaming up with friends and conquering the land. The definent most noteble thign about this game is the vast and seemingly infinite amount of weapons that you can get your hands on. How is this possible? Well, Gearbox developed a program that uses an AI to to mix and match various parts of guns along with attributes and other variables all in real time when a monster is killed and drops a weapon. This number has grown from hundreds of thousands and is now in the millions of possible combinations. According to an MTV Games blog, there was a limit of 3,166,880 combinations, which in itself is a lot. in fact, as stated at the end of the article... "you literally spend 6.025 years playing "Borderlands," which is how long you would need to play if you were finding a new gun every minute." Anyhoo, as I have just learned today by reading an older issue of Game Informer (Sept 2007), not only is there the real time generation of weapons upon spawn, but this also applies to the land. I'm not too sure if it's still true since the art change in the winter, but this means that the landscapes will change slightly over the time that you play. I seriously hope to see some people buy this on the PC in hopes to gain a partner or two. But anyway, enjoy some vids!

This game is broken on the awesome scale. The graphics are so sweet and sexy, the guns are just awesome, and the gameplay looks intense. Also the 4 player co-op is going to be a blast. This, ODST, and L4D2 seem to be the surest bet for fun on Xbox this year.

Ok, in a recent interview (dated July I believe), it has been ruled that there are no more dynamic landscapes featured in the game. That's sad for me because that was another high selling point for me. Even though the landscapes won't change at all, I'm still very anxious to get this game when it comes out in...
48 days (I think)
