Hey i'm Steevo Weevo and I give ratings to the stages in super smash bros. brawl. Kind of like X-Play on G4. The ratings could be varying from failure to 5/5. I rate stages in brawl and since I never did a melee rating, I will also do past stages. I will post on this thread with the name of the thread,informtion,rating ect. I know some of you might disagree with the ratings but don't worry. Its not like you can't play the stage again. You have the rights to agree or disagree. Just don't go ballistic if you disagree. I will start rating stages now. If you would like to request a rating for a stage then go ahead. I mean as in you want to know my rating of battle ship halberd and I can give it to you.I can also rate custom stages. See below for details.


If you would like to have your own custom stage rated then add me to your brawl list. Pm me once you have added me so I can add you. Tell me if you want a custom stage to be rated too. Once you have me added and i have you added then send me your custom stage and I will tell you the rating. If you want I will post the rating on here.

- 6/07/08 Stage Raters is receiving a massive update to the thread! I've been busy with stuff IRL and on here but for all Custom Stages waiting for rating will be done as soon as possible! A Custom Stage list will be created that have been rated. It will also have the best rated custom stages/ custom stage MASTERS. Name of stage- Battleship halberd
Theme-Kirby
Rating-4/5

Descripton- Its the battleship halberd from kirby super star which is bringing its way to brawl because of the cameo of meta knight. Its a spectacular sight when the halberd leaves off of the port and flys into the air while flying by you. When landing on the halberd its easy to use a lot of final smashes. So far so good actually. You can also be attacked by cannon balls,double barreled battery and a giant claw that looked like a hand and dropped bombs in kirby superstar. theres just two things that could have made it even better. If they had Dyna Blade and Heavy Lobster making cameos in there then I would have given it a 5/5.

Description-Ok well this is of course an electroplankton stage and thats all the good things i can say. This stage is one of the most boring stages ive ever played at. It's not very good for final smashes,your enemies can get away easily, and there are annoying little critters jumping around making bell noises. Ive never played electroplankton but to people who have, is it always like that? Theres not much action to it either. Just a bunch of leaves that turn orange and then red. Rumor was that brawl might be rated m a while ago because of zero suit samus. now its obvious why they made it T rated. just because of one stage.

Description-This stage has so many background illusions that make it hard to concentrate on your enemies. I know a lot of people would say this stage is awful but it needs a 3/5. The reason is because of strategies and final smashes. If you use a final smash like samus's then its sure to get your enemy. If that doesnt work then its great for defeating them with the random objects appearing.

I like that stage. Its different in a good way. And my final smash works great on it too.And their is no way in hell brawl would have been rated M for ZSS. The stage has nothing to do with that. But its your opinion and if you feel that way its cool.

Description-Of course i isnt from an actual fire emblem game but its a great stage. There is three parts of the stage including the watch tower,the hall and the underground. Its a really cool stage actually. Great for attacking and knocking people in lava from the underground. if they just added one more part of the castle then this stage would have gotten a 5/5.

Description-Its the main stage for Boss Battles or extremley hard battles. Theres not much to it though. ts just a platform. Here is the good part though, Its graphics are outstanding when you go through other places. The ocean almost reminds of of the orange sea that Meta Knight would be the final boss of in kirby's adventure. Also when his halberd sank in kirby superstar. It may be just a platform but its great graphics are what gives it a 2/5 since without the background details it would be rated as faliure.

Final Destination is cool. i like it because for certain matches because the stage cant mess u up. it should at least be a 4.

battlefield would definitly be one of my faves , gets a 5/5 from me, its only a small platform so you got nowhere to hide from the ppl your fighting, and it just looks great, i love the lighting effects

Description- Its the remake of level 1-1 and 1-2 of the original super mario bros game for the U.S Theres usually items in all of the blocks so its easy to get a good KO there. Especially with all the blocks around so they keep hitting it. Its also good to get the smash ball when its between blocks or around the top when it goes to the level 1-2 remake. its so fun to just beat around at everything there is to attack. all this excitement gives this stage a 4/5.

P.S. you guys are right about your ratings. Its different for everybody though. I'm going to up the rating for final destination by 1. Its true though. its more than just a platform and fancy background graphics.

Description- Its the main stage to represent super smash bros. brawl. Its the basic style though. One main platform at the bottom and three pass through platforms floating in different spots. It has great graphics in it. Without that super smash bros. brawl wouldnt have such a great resemblence stage. Even though its basic it deserves a 4/5.

description-Its port town from the f-zero series. In the f-zero games its actually hard for me to drive there but now its better since its for brawling. You basically go through the race track and avoid some passing racers. Some are very well known like the blue falcon an some scorpion thing for samarai gohro. Like the previous post the music choice is great. For some reason there is always a great choice of music in F-zero stages. There may some well known sites there too. all this excitement gives it a 5/5

Hmm.. what about the Donkey Kong stage were you scroll up all the time? I personally think that it was a drag that they had just that stage and no other Kong stage where you don't have to be constently moving. (Unless I haven't unlocked a stage yet.)

i would like to see you rate Spear Pillar, you'll most likely be harsh, yet its probably one of my favourite stages to play on.
