Why no Custom Stages in Online?

I assume that having custom stages online (with friends or with anyone) would just create more lag time...especially for those whose connections are slow already =(

I don't think it would create Lag for Friends. I posted good reasons, so that it wouldn't have lag in Friends...

I think Nintendo didn't thought that before releasing the game, I think they were so excited that the game can be played online that they missed the idea of playing custom stages online.

And if they thought the idea of online custom stages, well, maybe they had a reason why there are no custom stages.

maybe childish stages like four little platforms in one huge stage.

or maybe a full spiked one to make fun.

i don't know, maybe there wasn't any space left on the disk/game to add that option.

they didn't let you choose your custom stages online because you might have some stragedies so thats kind of like cheating. i was also mad we couldn't play our custom stages online but i understand now.

1. Takes too long to download (well depends on your area and connection, but it's likeley to be weak).
2. Inappropriate stages (if you know what I mean).
3. Some people probably don't want to brawl on custom stages.
4. Certain stages may be too difficult (I often build stages where you can easily get trapped, fall into spikes, etc. and they're pretty hard to get out of. Most of which you can't get out without help).

Other than that I think it's an awesome idea.

Well isn't that the point of all the stages. No one knew what the Halberd stage was gonna do. If I took you to a random stage you would have to explore. Even if that person has an upper advantage...This should make it all more sweeter...

I think that there are pros and cons to the idea, but I would get impatient with the forever loading time myself...

Totally agree with tht, ive made a very fun custom stage, Where i pretty much battle in all the time, it replaces all the original stages lol. Man! its soo much fun! Well i mean it wouldnt have hurt anyone to have the custom stages available for freindly battles, init?

Yeah, I know what you mean! Maybe if the rumor of downloadable brawl choices or data or whatever it is, you can accept certain custom stages to wi-fi brawl on.
