Guidelines and requirements for making a SSBB clan(MUST-READ)

As of lately, there has been an emergence of new clans that have not simply followed the guidelines. We've never had established firm guidelines, but now it is imperative that this takes into effect to avoid any more problems. When making a clan, you need to keep the following in mind:

-It must be active. If a clan is not active after a certain period of time, it will be closed down.
-The thread can not contain high amounts of spam. If we see that there are numerous spam posts, we will issue you one warning. After that, it will be closed.
-You need 100 posts to begin a clan rather than the usual amount of 50. There has been too many instances in which new members have been posting new clans and had their clans closed quickly. To avoid any confusion, it is 100 posts in sections where post count is enabled, not total(in non-post count sections as well.) There are exceptions if a moderator has given you special permission.
-Be respectable to your peers and other clans. There has been too many clans in the past that have gotten out of control and been disrespectable to their peers. Failure to do so will result in closing of the clan thread. It is unacceptable to have too many arguments among one another.
-Sexual reference or cursing is not allowed. A first offense will result in a post deletion. It is up to the captains of those clans to watch over and make sure everything is running smoothly and responsibly. Failure to adhere to this will result in your clan being closed.*

Tips when making a clan:

If you're going to make a clan, you need to make an outline of it and be descriptive. In order to attract members to your clan, your clan needs to be unique. Try to outline some goals of your clan such as objectives. For example, this is an example:

-Description: We are the __________ clan, and we ____________________(continues on with the description.)

-Objective: To became the best known (insert character name here) clan on NW.

Try not to start a clan like this:

We are the _______ clan, and we're just looking for members.

This will probably not attract any members, and your clan will not prosper.
