Out of the web comics on this site that you have read a lot of... what do you think makes them stand out from the crowd? This thread is basically for comic creators to see what makes their series special.... I'll start.
Bwing the Thing Wii Pals A. The series invented the n00b crown. Which is the closest NW is gonna get to having their own internet meme. B. 8-bit style comics. These are the two things you basically expect when looking at a Wii Pals comic. Not that it's a bad thing when they actually use a joke besides the noob crown though. :P Ninja Bob If Fyree's and Solphin's comics are part of the 1st generation.... and mine, Pocketim, and some others are part of the 2nd generation...... then Gurrah and FP comics are part of the the third generation... They basically came in when things were slow and brought it back up to speed with their fresh style of humor that differ from anything else yet posted and frequent post for quite some time.... But what makes the Ninja Bob series special was how miserably Ninja Bob can fail. From stupid fail, like failing to realize that that he had a bomb timer set upside-down only to realize there is only one second left by the time he turn it right-side-up. All the way to luck fail, like falling off a building and seeing that their is a mattress truck to break the fall....... only to completely miss the truck and land on the cement road... on his head. And when he started trying to prove to us all that fail was not in his name, it only got better. That is the charm of Ninja Bob. Michael and Mr. Higgins Like Ninja Bob its entry was fresh and original at a time it was greatly appreciated. What makes this comic series special was that it took place 99% in the classroom. I guess they also get the medal for best approach to announcing a new style change. Raymodo the Raving Rabbid who was introduce a later on in the series also was another charm of the comics. Acting like most Rabbids if Raymodo didn't like something, he took care of it with his plunger of justice. No one was safe from the plunger of justice! Not Mr. Higgins, not the presidential nominees, not a Jackit, not even the Wii Pals. :P Larry and Vooomph You thought I forgot didn't you LS? Now what to say about this one... well where else are you going to see a fat guy and a vampire as co-stars? Epically a Vampire who hates Broccoli and blood? Oh and Larry's level of *cough*stupidtyandfatness*cough* ignorance I suppose deserves a little credit too...GINtendo Forgive me iNako, I almost forgot.. and how could I? GINtendo cast of Animal Crossing characters are one-of-a-kind and appear about half of the time. What makes one of those comics better than ordinary Animal Crossing jokes is that the community (unlike the game) is like an actual town. From elections to playing video games like most people. The other half of GINtendo is full of comical views of the gaming world. From Pokemon trainers, to Mario, to actual political and economic views of gaming. I especially a due that last statement. No one takes on the issues of things like Gamestop, video game violence and marketers like iNako does.... well at least not on this site heck honestly none of us have actually explored that area of gaming jokes yet so he earns the credit of doing it first. :P |

Me and Cloud see your feelings go ahead dont mention our valid comic jk
Namu and Chazz The namu and chazz comics are special because of the special time we took to create our characters and draw our comics. although the time between comics has been long lately once the comics come out they are a barrel of laughs.
