Some Tips on Building/Keeping Your Clan

• If you want to keep your clan alive... Here are some tips.

• Make a wonderful, colorful, pictureful front page for your clans thread to attract other members.

• Do not spam.. it will not only be deleted but no one will respect your orginization.

• Do not bump your own threads.

• Do not trash on other clans (unless its in good hearty fun)

• Organize competitions with other clans and keep track of your wins/losses inside your own threads!

Use your head and heat and youll do fine.

Rules and Regulations

The 3 Most Important Rules Of The Forum

Once those 3 are done then this will be a nice area to come together and chat with fellow karters

1. Be respectful to other clans and their members; do not insult , bully, or spam their threads with mindless babble or threats.

2. When a clan has first initially started their thread, do not immediately challenge them; give them a few days to collect themselves and establish a base membership first.

3. When a clan is in the midst of currently hosting an official Clan Wars tournament, only ONE official tournament may be running at a time to not conflict with scheduling of the other tournament.

4. Leaders reserve the right to accept or deny entry of members seeking to apply. Leaders are also enabled to kick or ban a member from their clan if said member has been unjust, disrespectful, or otherwise.

5. Clans are limited to one thread for their clan. No exceptions.

6. Dont Make a clan if your not serious or dedicated to managing it. If you are not It will only get deleted.

7. Members are permitted to be in only one clan at any given time.

Tournament Making Rules

To keep order i reserve the right to host Offical Kart Clan Wars and Future Tournaments

Mini in clan tournaments can me made and mini vs wars however these will be 100% unofficial and winners will not be placed in the hall of fame

If you dont meet this Requirement your clan will just be deleted

Thanks for taking the time to write this great beginners guide, its nice to see people willing to share their knowledge to help others! I actually registered just to reply.

I have some questions though...

Terminology
Theres lots of words like inter-clan, rivals, alliances, wars, guilds etc flying around all over the place, would you be able to explain what these mean and possibly add those that we should also know?

Also, is there an official clan registry/organisation with tournaments etc? (not just for specific sites).

Unfortunally the person who wrote this guide will no longer be active in this site (as i heard).
If your looking for the definitions...

A rival is a competing person, company, or team.

An alliance is an agreement between two or more parties, made in order to advance common goals and to secure common interests.

War is any large scale battle against eachother

i mean i don't know exactly what you mean by this... im sorry.


If you wish to participate in tournament or competition between clans, just search this forum and aply in the one that interest you the most.
These tournaments will be held most likely by the forum leaders.

So is a guild just another word for a clan?

Clan wars, are they for just individual members of clans in 1 on 1's or are they team matches?

One more, is it advisable to have a clan advertised on more than one site?

yup thats right.
and yeah it could go either way, a group match or most likely a 1 vs 1. but you might have to go against your own member in a clan tourny so you will be on your on
Well the clans we have are not being spread out in other sites this is just a nintendoworlds thing, but we are currently having a "war" against another website at the moment.

Well, I'm actually in the process of forming a clan and currently researching other clans methods etc.

I'm a member of another forum, but yeah I'd like to stick around - but only if I were welcome.
