Ok I'm back... Anyway, trsteve1's internet went down in he's whole area. So unfortunate that he won't be able to join. I'll get all your friend codes, and create room. we'll get a race going.

Haha, no internet outage can keep me down! Well, it can, until it is no longer down. madbz9 has opened a room, so all should join. I apologize for Charter being a bunch of tards and not having reliable service, but now, we can race, join up with madbz (I assume you've added him, as he has added you at this point)

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have updated the General News section (on the front page), nothing too big or important, just some general stuff (haha, corny, I know), welcoming all new members to the clan (which is everyone, cause we're a new clan!). Just make sure you give it a quick read

, and remember (if you can) to participate in the first Official "on-the-book" clan race!

There will be one race per week. Once we get some more members, we'll switch to some more entertaining and interesting options.

Remember, this clan is only going to be as fun as you make it. I will do my best to keep things interesting and involved, but if no one is being active and taking advantage of it, it's just me sitting around twiddling my thumbs, and that's just plain sad

(you of course are not expected to participate in everything, things come up, etc, but you are encouraged to make time for MKW with your clanmates as often as possible

)

General News

Decided to post this here, you can always find general news updates on the first page, so don't forget to check it out from time to time.

First off, I would like to welcome our new members of this, our first week of existence (give or take a few days)

We hope that you come to enjoy the Mushroom Brigade as we strive to achieve our goal of creating a fun and exciting group for lovers of Mario Kart Wii.

With that being said, we obviously need more members, so definitely let your friends know about how much fun we have here, there's no shame in advertising for something that you think is good.

A few things of note.

1. I have created a thread within the clan forum for a 12 person inter-clan race, it is a two person per team race and for this round madbz9 and myself will be representing us Mushrooms, however, in the future all members will get a chance to represent the Brigade in official and unofficial clan tournaments/races.

2. In less than 24 hours I will be creating a thread in the MKW Races and tournaments section. It will be an all new MKW League, which I plan to run with two races per week, a ranking system and hopefully an end of each month race of the best racers from that month. I hope this will be as successful as I think it can be, and welcome all to join in.

3. Somewhat less important, but still, something to mention is I have decided to post the winner of the first race from our clan race on Friday. Only the winner from the first race will be mentioned, and I will keep track of who wins per week (probably keep up to the past four winners). Also, wondering if the time and day are good for most people, as I am willing to be flexible and want to know if that is a time that I should stick with for a while, or think about changing for the upcoming weeks.

4. Also, the 3rd official clan tournament has started. Let me know if you're interested in representing. For this one myself and madbz9 will be two of the entrants, we need two more!
