WELCOME TO THE

Is currently accepting members after a tryout or by invitation only. This is due to the already large number of active members within the clan. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is the way it must be done.

The Mushroom Brigade is a group for any Karter who wants to race and have a good time.

Sure, it’s important to improve your skills, but most important is to race and have fun.

OUR MOTTO
We are a group of jovial gals and gents, and while we do compete, it is not important if we win or lose, but that we have fun (cheesy right?).

Seriously though, there will always be a chance to race someone again, so don’t wallow in the defeats, nor should there be any flaunting of victories over those who lose.

We will have various events scheduled throughout each month, trying to keep things active and interesting. These events will be posted on the front page within the first week of each month so remember to check what is coming up and make room in your schedule to participate.

HOW TO JOIN

To join, simply post in the thread your desire to join the Mushroom Brigade and please include your MKWii Friendcode. Your membership will remain in good standing as long as you follow the five rules above. The best way to get better and have fun with Mario Kart Wii is to race as often as you can with your fellow Brigade members, so make sure you take part in as many of our events as possible. Even feel free to suggest your own impromptu races when you are available.

Your rank will be determined by the veterans of the clan. Do not ask to be moved up as this will be determined mostly by your activity and a little bit by your skill.

Mushroom Code

I (insert name) promise to be an active and contributing member to the Mushroom Brigade. I solemnly swear to enjoy my time as a Brigadier, to use this time to become a better racer, a better battler and a better mushroom. I promise not to fire upon other Brigadiers in Regional and Worldwide Races, not a red shell, a spiny shell, nor banana. If I am to accidentally be stricken by a fellow Brigadier I will not act on my anger with revenge, rather I will understand that I have probably done the same as mistake. I will do my best to be an exemplar of the Mushroom Brigade!

A little explanation of the "Rankings"

These rankings are not necessarily an indication of your skill. It is intended to give an easy to read list of our members in order of a combination of variables. These variables include but are not limited to: Skill, Activity, Helpfulness, Responsibility and Reliability. You can move up this list, and you can move down. Here's how it works.

You start off as a Thundercloud: You must race myself, madbz9, [Lycan], Wafflenator or yankeefan802 to pledge your loyalty to the brigade.

Single Mushroom: Hooray, you are a full-fledged member of the Mushroom Brigade! You're new, but eager and willing to help us be the most fun clan around here. You have good skills and are looking to get better in some challenging races.

Triple Mushroom: You are a proven member of the Brigade. A loyal Brigadier through and through. You compete in Clan Wars representing Mushroom everywhere, you participate in clan events and look to race clan members almost every time you're on Mario Kart. A trusted member and quite probably a fast racer.

Megashroom: These are the Brigadiers who have proven that not only are they committed to this clans ideals, they are willing to go above and beyond what would normally be expected of clan members. They frequently organize races during the week for other members. Megashrooms could fill in for one of the Golden Mushroom in a pinch if needed. These are the seconds in command.

Golden Mushroom: The grand Poobahs. Matthew and I will be here to organize events, to hand out awards to members. To move you up (or down) the member list. If you ever have a question or concern with something in the clan (or a suggestion) we are here to have open ears and make this clan the best clan for all of its members. We are the Golden Mushroom!

Race of the Week (ROTW)

Vs Race!

This is coming back, gawd dangit! Look for it to be returning on a Saturday afternoon near you. We're talking heart-stopping excitement, MKWii style. Races that leave your palms sweaty with clan awards and recognition (not to mention ever-lasting admiration xD). However, it's not all about winning, it's also about fun. After the first official race, we will jump back and forth for as long as you can handle, doing Coin Runners, Balloon Battles and Team Vs Races... that's right, will hit 'em all, pull out all the stops, and we do it, all for you (that's right, you.. no, not you.. but YOU!)

Saturdays at 4pm est.
Stephen will usually host, however, this may change from time to time when needed

Oh dear.. I haven't updated this in... forever and a week... so here goes nothing!

First off, I would like to welcome our newest member to the Brigade!

We hope that you come to enjoy the Mushroom Brigade as we strive to achieve our goal of creating a fun and exciting group for lovers of Mario Kart Wii. Feel free to ask anyone here any questions you may have about the clan. And remember, be active! And of course, have fun!

Wow... I really failed at keeping the news section updated, oh well, that's how it goes sometimes xD

Still welcoming new members, have a few that need to post their friendcodes to get onto the list, and Rainydayz, if you want to be a full member, you gotta have a race. Soon we may put a cap on the clan and only allow invites, just to keep it from getting too big, but for now, we'll leave it as an open clan xD

A few things of note.

1. Clan war with the Darkness Racers is almost over! We are winning, and there are only 2 matches left (maybe three), but we just need one more win and it's all set xD

2. The Race of the Week is back and stronger than ever. It has yet to have less than 6 racers, and for 3 straight weeks we have had a different winner, hellz to the yea!

3. 3rd Clan Wars Tournament is in the finals. I know what you're thinking if you've looked at it, we have two members in the finals, however, this is not true. While Flyingwolf may indeed be a Brigadier now, he is still representing the fallen Blazing Angelz in the war, in what could be described as their last hoorah.

Well, I am in central time, madbz9 is in eastern time. If we can get a mountaineer we will have the Northern American time zones covered from coast to coast.
