That is correct, you could consider the 3 person vs Race as a play in or qualifier. Then the racer with the lowest point total after one grand prix drops out, leaving two racers who then compete in a 1v1 (it doesn't have to be immediately after the first race, but that would just make sense). I think the best tie-breaker scenario would be, no matter the tie, all 3 racers compete in a 5th race, with those standings deciding the breaker. For instance, if two people tie for second, there will be a 5th race, and whichever of the two finishes better than the other, goes on to the 1v1 vs person who got 1st place. Same format would work if there is a tie for 1st. I think it is important that the person who is not tied to stay in, so that the conditions remain the same. Then, in 1v1 use normal tie-breaking rules. Here it is http://www.wiipals.net/Forum/members/keybearer-20407.html You know you can click quick links, go to member list, and then search for members? I need to keep reminding myself, karts only :P

I dunno, to me it looks like the 3 people race and only the winner goes through, not; the 1st and 2nd go through and have a race.
Lady? Angelstar and Chronic, I've noted your codes down, so whenever you guys are ready, and I have time, lets get it done. |
