A mysterious video entitled "Wii Move - Balance Board Innovation" appeared on YouTube recently. The video shows nothing more than a computerised woman running with a clock frantically ticking in the background.

The mystery was soon cleared up by Balance Board Blog (they really do have a website for everything now huh?) who contacted the guy who posted the YouTube video. It turns out that Wii Move is a game being developed by Pherosoft. Here’s what they told them:

"Wii Move is the first Project from PheroseSoft, a small 7 man team, made up from past members of EA Canada Burnaby and Rockstar North. The game looks to put an unexpected slant on the Wii Balance Board. Look for Wii Move to hit the download service in quarter four 08"

It sounds like it could be a pretty neat idea for a WiiWare game, of course it remains to be seen how it will turn out. Let's face it this video doesn't tell us anything, but I am guessing it will be some type of exercise based game.

I know the video is strange, I just posted it as a source really, I got the same from it as you did........zero!!!!
But I suppose really the interesting thing is balance board games being developed for wiiware.

An updated video has since been released showing more in-game footage. It has also been renamed to We Move: Pain vs Pleasure and has some kinky overtones that may interest the more sadomasochistic of you!

It is not entirely clear if this is a real video of the gameplay or not but it has been released by the same uploader.

In the video it is demonstrated that this game will allow you to create your own Mii-like characters, create your own moves, create your own items (such as whips and candles so you can get hot wax poured on you by a dominatrix!), you can even cruise your neighbourhood keeping track of the exploits of the victims of this twisted exercise regime.

I can only say that if this is real gameplay, this is one of the most “interesting” of the upcoming titles planned for WiiWare. Check out the video below.

I think the game looks really bad :S If its even real.
But i like how the guy jumps up and lands on hi's face tho.

Pherosoft might be developing something, and a Wii Ware game that is compatable with the Balance board would be awesome, but this video is kinda wierd.

I don't think there's any way that a serious developer, that would want their game available on Nintendo's Wii, would create a game in a way that that video is suggesting.

Hmm... a WiiWare game using the balance board? That's pushing it a little... but I guess we have to wait until the end of the year.

The Vid tells nothing so we are going to have to wait 4 it to come out on WiiWare to understand what it really is
