Um...I have a question...I know the rules say "no old reviews", but I wrote a review in within the time frame of this review of the month...can I link to that? I think it fits all the requirements for this competition.

If you're referring to that review of Sonic and the Black Knight, I don't beleive it fits the criteria.

If it's your review of Overkill, knock yourself out.

Wait...why doesn't Black Knight meet the criteria...it seems like a pretty underrated game...heck, Overkill has been receiving nothing but positive reviews...(just curious...)

Because Black Knight has gotten lots of recognition and attention. It's SONIC! He has a gigantic fanbase, all who give his games a perfect 10 without a second glance, and the game is pretty far from being underrated. It's priced 50$ at Gamestop for a reason, because it's popular. Just look at the two pages of comments that your Sonic review got. My review got 1 comment, because nobody knows or cares about some game they've never heard of. I the intent of this ROTM was to unearth those awesome "hidden treasure" games that never got publicity, like Okami, Retro Game Challenge, and Zack and Wiki. It's not to appease the rabid Sonic fans who will swarm the polls and vote for it because it's Sonic. I'm actually quite concerned that having someone as popular as Sonic in this particular competition will cause an unfair bias. If we're dealing with games nobody has ever recognized, we wouldn't want one that has been recognized in there.

I read your review of Overkill, it's actually quite good. I think all it really needs is a bit of formatting and you'd be good to go.
