Hey everyone, once again!

The Review Team has once again come up with another idea for a Creative Contest!

We have plenty of poets out there, I know it. Have you ever shared your work? If so, did it get positive feedback? This contest is for all poets out there.

Summer is a very easy topic to write poetry on. You can write about the season itself, emotions you feel, etc. Now, instead of short stories, we have a poetry theme.

Who May Enter?

You must have 50 posts to enter.

Requirements

Your poem does not have a length limit YET. Try not to make it too long, though.
The poem must be about summer.
Poems must be original. Plagiarism has never been allowed and disquailification will result from this, and possibly further action.

Rules

Campaigning (asking for votes) is not allowed. This will result in immediate disqualification.
Review Team members are NOT allowed to enter, but entrants may come to them for assistance.
If you are going to enter, at least TRY to write a decent poem. Nonsense poems will be deleted.
Foul language/content is NOT allowed. Any poem containing foul language will be deleted.
Lastly, have fun. This is a chance to show off your poetry skills, so take advantage of it!

Entry/Voting Periods

Entry Period: July 12th - July 18th
Voting Period: July 19th - July 25th

Awards

The winner of this Creative Contest will win the Stellar Article award.

SUMMERTIME

The peaceful, swaying palm trees.
Summer is the sun's gleaming haze.
The relaxing, lively, eternal, bright days.
Summer is the sweltering humidity.
The feeling of absolute security.
The solstice days that are the most dry.
It's summer; That's why.

All I do is sweat alot.
I go for a swim, in the pool.
The cold water is oh so cool.
Relaxing under the tropical sun.
Just having so much fun.
Lying around soaking it up.
Drinking water from my ice cold cup.
Summer is the tropical season.
That is decided; without reason.
