If you remember this thread from back in July, you'll remember some unusually dark concept artwork from Disney for an upcoming game mysteriously dubbed "Epic Mickey" setting the internet on fire.

Well it seems all the rumor and speculation is about to be put to an end, as an upcoming edition of GameInformer confirms the game to be a Wii exclusive!

Expect a truck load of details to be posted soon, but in the meantime, here's the amazing cover art for your gawking pleasure:

Whoa, the magazine cover makes it look like a version of KH game but accustomed to the wii.

Disney's dark theme for this game really intrigued me when I first heard the rumor about this game. Cant wait to here more details about gameplay, plot, and other potentials features.

Seems like a mature attempt by disney to make their characters scary. I hope Mickey can carry a gun and blow zombie heads off or something. Although it wouldn't be appealing to the parents but a guy can dream.

Doudt this acording to rumors Mickey just draws stuff with a paint brush, and guess what he has in his hand.

This will never be as scary as people think it will be, but it is interesting.

I really wonder what they are going to do with this... Maybe Disney will really pull something great out of Magic Mickeys Hat...

It's good to see that disney is making mickey completly diffrent so have disney have released anything new? like trailers or gameplay?

If I had to guess, Disney is holding out because they're afraid the world will freak out over a dark version of the Disney universe. I think they're dipping their feet into the water to see how people react, and then go from there. Like I thought it was a joke the first second I heard it because Disney these days is so into appealing to little kiddies and this is no Hanna Monnta or Mickey Mouse Club House.
