Goldeneye 2010 Headed to Wii? [Rumour] - NintendoPals.net Nintendo Friend Codes Forum

The rumourmill is in full swing today, as it seems a leaked CV from an ex-Eurocom animator has revealed a possible remake of classic Nintendo 64 game Goldeneye, dubbed "Goldeneye 2010".
All links to the CV have since been removed, which in itself raises suspicions.

Before anyone brings it up, this isn't simply a reference to the next scheduled Bond game, which is currently in development by Bizzare Creations.

Anyways, cool. I remember people comparing The Conduit's multiplayer to Goldeneye, I wonder if that is what caused them to decide to remake it.

it is a very good game for the N64 but as most wii shooters i think this will be a fail, they might leave things out of the game like most weapons and guns. NINTENDO DONT MESS THIS UP

I hope they do release a remake. It'd be awesome if they could make the multiplayer wi-fi.

Yes it was rated T, and IF they re do it, it would probably be because the Conduit was made in a similar fashion and did a total HORRIBLE job. So they have to prove they still got it!

Just kidding..

Who would develop it? Rare is like totally '90s. They have nothing good anymore.

(oh and for all of you who wished you could play this game.. Thats what buying a N64 is for...

I still have Goldeneye AND SSB the original... with 8 characters and everything.

This would be a massive bombshell, in my opinion.

Definately one of the greatest games of all time, so if there was a remake for the Wii, it'd fly off the shelves.
