Depending entirely on the system. I think if the make the game REALLY like it's roots (you know where the score actually mattered instead of just the time) then a leaderboard sounds possible. Aside from that, I don't see much reason for anything outside of DLC.

At this point, we really don't know even know the name, let alone any mechanics. All we do know is it has been built from the ground up and it's a 2-D game.

Same here I'm so worried that I decided to work on becoming a video game developer just so Sonic can stay alive for a long time. sorry for that distraction back on topic so there is nothing to do in the meantime but wait anything else to discuss?
