There is a difference between being honest (even brutally so) and being insulting. Saying you don't think he's progressing anymore, his work is actually going downhill from where it used to be and that you'd like to see him do things besides what he sees other people do is one thing. Calling someone a trend whore, claiming they do nothing and calling their work crap doesn't make people want to do better; it makes them angry.
He had no right to say some of the things he said, either, and I've called him on it, but your comments didn't help, truthful or not.
Naa foo. Your style of cnc = win, even if others consider it too harsh. I like your straight forwardness. I dont want others sugar coating my work if they think its not good I want to kno straight forward. No real cnc = no progress.
