    Did you switch the HDTV to 480p mode? And the Wii, too? That is the only way it'll look even SLIGHTLY better. If you mess around with some of the TV's settings, you could make the Wii look better, but it'll never look like HD.

    @ your tech support thread:
    Wii is NOT designed for anything higher than 480i. It shouldn't BE in anything higher than 480i. It looks like cat barf, and changing the resolutions does nothing. The Wii doesn't have graphical horsepower AT ALL. The only thing that'll look better are menus, even WITH the component cables.
