[NOTE and Quick Pre-Conclusion: This Comment is for Intellectuals only; No need for arrogance nor stubbornness. We intellectuals can gather information, share ideas and pave the way for innovation. Only by being honest and being unbiased we can achieve this.

This is my opinion from based on comments made and on the subject of which system, 360 vs. PS3, is better.

In Conclusion I think the PS3 will be the best in Time given that their technology is affordable yet highly advance and developers will become familiar with designing on the system.]


I’m shocked that some of you proudly and arrogantly say that the PS3 and 360 are inferior to the Wii. I have my Wii and I love it but I never make such a claim.

The Wii brought us “out of the standard norm” controls and that might be about the only innovation. The heartache is that they neglected many things as power, graphics, game software, social and online networks. The controls themselves do no yet work the way we had expected them to but thanks to “Wii Motion” they will FULLY provide us with their true purpose. Yet, it will cost us more than what we already have paid.

Let’s not forget Nintendo did not want to compete with current generation standards since it wanted to expand its fan base and guarantee their survival of the “battle of the console sales”. Thus these new, but incomplete, controls are NOT enough to make the other systems inferior. Hardware alone those not make a great system. This also applies and not limited to controls, accessories and excessive power.

Nintendo, not necessarily invented, dedicated itself to casual and E rated software. They also provided affordable technology with low technology requirements (SDTV).

To close on that subject, I don’t think the PS3 and 360 should be called INFERIOR compared to the Wii. PS3 and Microsoft learned from Nintendo and are diversifying their software to widen and satisfy their gross consumer base. You can’t ever have Samus Aran rock it on those consoles but what would it mean if those current generation consoles, given they can easily do so, add *Complete* motion controls? I will leave at that. Never forget they will never have the Nintendo Family whose legacy can’t ever die.


The PS3 and the 360 from a fan of all 3 consoles.

1. Why I bough the 360

I personally bough 360 because it provided me with the a console that targeted for a FPS fan base and had many of the things that at the time the PS3 was offering (with some exceptions) as well as a wide spectrum of appetizing titles for a lesser overall price; Even when I had to pay for a WiFi adapter and Live Account. Some of the PS3 Perks where either not crucial (WiFi) for me or were an excessive luxury (BRDVD).

At the time many of my favorite Sony titles crossover and multi-console games had the exact qualities. There was no need for me to overpay for excessive technology when a console provided me with all my needs. I had my Xbox games and My Sony games at the same tier of quality (DMC4). Even better, Xbox had exclusives that were from Sony’s Family (DOA4). At the time the price of the Xbox was MUCH smaller than Sony’s PS3 and it provided me with current generation Technology unlike the Wii. I had great graphics, great online play and social network, great library of diverse games etc…..


2. How I feel Now?

I think that the PS3 has superior technology that will still be great even when a new Xbox comes to light. Yes it is complicated technology that can intimidate developers but this obstacle will shrink soon. I have seen amazing games come out for the PS3 that I wish I had like Big Planet and Metal Gear Solid. I want to play these games- they look AMAZING!

I think the PS3 is suffering and is loosing on profits now but while technology becomes cheaper so will the PS3. I think the PS3 might not sale as much an outdated system but it will flourish enough to survive the battles. They just need to squeeze tight and hold on. Fans are not waiting for the PS3 to become a cheap leaf-over but affordable.

There no point on crying over spilled milk and Sony has learned some things from its competition. The PS3 is hard, better, fast and strong but it in the future it will also be Wiser.

I think the PS3 will have a nice bloom in the very near future and those who already cherished it will still be rewarded in the future. Those who were smart shoppers will be rewarded even better =).

I am a 360, Wii and PS2 owner and at this moment in time I can say that the PS3 is ready to show off and I want to be part of it.

Keep your shin up PS3 your like a complicated and undiscovered Cinderella and I will be your prince and you will be the crowned Queen. LOL……Yes, that was cheesy.
